The man with a horn and no fancy gadgets
I’ve been playing sax for a number of years mostly pubs ,clubs and theatres., and played with a number of bands (Porkpie/ The Boyz/ Surrogate Pink Floyd/ The Millar Men/ Toledo and The Scottish Pink Floyd)I currently play lead sax with Scotlands only tribute to UB40 (1 in 10) my second band The Petty Officals is a rock covers corporate band whereby I play both tenor and alto, I do a lot of functions on my own and love to learn songs, I originally set up my UA-cam channel for my grandkids to see me when I’m long gone, all videos are recorded live with no effects or fancy gadget’s, I’m always available for work and can play all types of music

Hi Tobias I play a Oleg 7* mouthpiece.
@@grahamthesax great mouthpiece. I also use the contempo vector 7* 😀... i found it only a bit difficult to find a ligature that fits. I also tried the saxxas ligature. Realy nice videos you made.
@@tobiassaxophon1288 thanks Tobias, I pride my playing on playing live without any fancy effects, I use the Legere Signature 2 reeds with the winslow ligature, I always find these reeds suit the alto and the mouthpiece. great to speak to a fellow sax player.

Hi Dave, this video was three years (how time passes) on that specific tune I was using a Jody Jazz Jet 7* with Legere reeds 2 with a Jody Jazz power ring, this gave me the kind of rasping Rock style 👍
