Hey man idk if you’re active still, but I’ve been trying to figure out how to split screen bo3 custom maps on my pc. Everytime I try it says cannot split screen, mind helping out?

I have a Rinnai R75LSi rental from a large Canadian HVAC company since May 2011 install in the furnace room in my home basement. Do you think it be okay for me to DIY maintenance on the blower fan to prevent the Code 10? I've never have done any servicing since it was installed.

This is the second time of me coming back to this video over the last 4 years. It is the only one that shows exactly how to take that apart. Thank you.

thanks this video is very accurate. even down to the two screws that were tight. I used a big needle nose pliers to loosen it. thanks for saving me a service call!!! Oh it was a error 10 and wow a big moth was stuck in the blower.

R75LS (no "i")owner here. Finally, I found a video that shows the one obvious thing any normal person would of course want to know about the single easiest process for cleaning the most likely cause of error code 10. I removed the blower fan unit as shown (slightly different wire connections but easy enough), took the blower outside and used an air compressor to blow out the debris, periodically stirring things up with a small bottle brush. It took a long time to gently loosen all the debris out from between all the fins of the fan with a very small brush and with a thin sliver of wood. I blindly felt around and also vacuumed up inside intake manifold of the tankless unit itself through the opening where this blower fan attaches. Lots of grit and grime up in there as well. Thank you very much for posting this.

THANK YOU! Totally fixed our problem. We had the sound of a jet engine in our new house every time we needed hot water, and it would fail half-way through our showers in the morning, requiring a very cold run to the utility room to restart the machine each time. We thought we needed a new machine, but turns out it was just completely packed full of asian lady beetles. Now it's quiet and working like a dream.

Worth noting, I bought tires with reinforced sidewalls. They did not want to go on the rest of the way by hand. Lol.

Dig-It you da bomb. My Rinnai tankless heater stopped working and threw an error code 61. I did my research and the problem was with the blower fan. I followed your instructions above and removed the fan. Sure enough there was a small peice of wood debris stuck in the fan blades and preventing it from turning. I removed the debris and the unit worked perfectly. I think you saved me about $1500. My plumber was trying to get me to remove the whole unit and replace it with a 50 Gal tank heater (I suspect that he doesn't know how to service the Rinnai and was just trying to sell us something that he can service). Thank you for the video.

Where is the air intake on this model? Can't you install some sort of screen to keep bugs from getting in?

Thanks for the video. We have a similar model that you have, just a bit different. Ours is 13 years old and was rattling terribly. Once we watched your video, we knew this had to be the problem. My husband dove right in with me as a backup and pulled out the fan and it probably had 1/4 cup of bugs in there. Gross!!! We cleaned it out and put it back together and it is back to normal.

Thanks for the information! I also removed the squirrel cage by unscrewing the 4 screws on the motor side of the fan unit. That gives lots of room to really clear between the fins. Running much quieter now, cheers.

Question is there a filter for the air intake to the blower?

My 10 yr old R94LS has been a problem for 6 yrs.... a REAL problem for 3. Constant Code 10 and cold showers. Rinnai was of no help, and I am rural no dealer within 90 miles. Local plumbers won't touch it. Has gotten very loud. Cleaned exhaust pipe several times, checked settings etc. Watched your video..... removed my fan assembly. 10 yrs worth of liquified, then dried, bug guts ( mostly Asian beetles) inside. Blew it out then separated the motor from the assembly. Took 40 mins to clean the dried goo out with dawn soap, toothbrush and Q-tips. Cleaned the intake area right before the fan, and the exhaust area directly above the fan. Reassembled..... runs so quiet now. Total time 1 hour. Took a longgggggg hotttt shower. No code 10! Thanks.

Thank you for posting this video. I've been in the basement working remotely for the last few months due to the pandemic. One morning I noticed the fan was a bit louder and then the sound went away. I called someone for service and paid a $59 visit fee. They spent 5 min, turned water off and on, said I should flush it myself to save money, and then left. They never opened it up, never checked the burner, and never checked the fan. Tomorrow I call them to complain. I was on a conference call and couldn't deal with the tech that visited. Once the call finished I checked the notes and asked my wife what happened. This video will help me check the fan myself.

If you take the screws out on the side of the blower, you can take the blower apart. It’s pretty easy. This will help make it easier to clean that blower out.
