Cool video! I Love going there! Only thing to know is that those ex-IAIS units are SD38’s and not SD40’s. Just subbed by the way!
Thanks for subscribing! Not sure what I was thinking… I knew those were SD38-2s! I fixed the info. I appreciate you pointing it out! It is a good spot to watch trains. I recently moved and am like 10 mins away from there now.

Wow 10 yrs ago those sd's they acquired from Iowa interstate a good buy maintained really well those are some work horses. Are there any of us old CSS&SB still miss the little Joe's. It's nice though the Illinois railroad museum has one in their stable
I wish I could have seen the little Joes in action. I was only 4 when they got retired!
What was the passenger car doing on the train
Not sure where it’s heading to.. but the reporting marks indicate it’s owned by the Steam Railroading Institute in Owosso, Michigan.

The MP3 six is not old yet it’s about like three going on four years so and the ST 70 is new so they’re both new so it’s new versus new. They racing each other because the race from union stations about like 20 miles.

There’s a MP36 on the UP-NW, and MP36PH locomotives are rare to be seen on the Union Pacific lines, they are normally seen on the RI, SWS, BNSF, HC, MD-N, NCS & MD-W lines.

They have GP38-2, GP40-2 and SD40-2’s but they don’t make it west of Fort Wayne anymore since they got these used Dash8s
