My daughter wants to get a Ranch somewhere in Nevada, something small I told her a ranchette… a few acres, where we can have some animals, but especially chickens and geese. I would add in some peacocks also for good burglar control has cavalier, King Charles spaniels but she wants something that’ll take care of predators, well I have two greyhounds, that’s probably not enough right now for a start, but I’d like to throw in a cane Corso and two or three more greyhounds and I showed her this video coyotes don’t stand a chance. There’s no way they can outrun a greyhound which is why greyhounds are also used to hunt gazelle. Maybe I’ll throw in a couple Borzois

Recently, 3 coyotes killed my short leg Jack Russell Terrier(Coby), as routine basis use to take my dog for a long walkat early hrs. in the morning, coyote are quiet smart.. during the walk my dog was way ahead of me, but the coyotes had already something well planned.. they were expose at purpose to get my dog's attention, he went after the coyotes, thr coyotes run thru the dirt road to trapped him behind the rabine area to slaughter him😢, I run the fast I could but it was too late, his back was broken. It die over the followers hrs.

If they are english greyhounds, is there not a huge risk of severe injury? The greyhound has very thin skin. One bite from a coyote would cause them to bleed real bad. How are you avoiding this?

I have been a hunter my whole life.. Running down a coyote with a pack of dogs and a pickup truck, just asking.. Is that considered Fair Chase?

I have a pack of 5 ridgebacks.... larger and faster than coyotes.... we chased the pack 3 times into a pond. I don't want my dogs to engage unless absolutely necessary. After the last time, the pack doesn't come around anymore. 😊

I don't hunt and am a person that respects most wildlife's right to be here. I take exception with coyotes. The coyote population we have in Georgia do not belong here and are often not full coyote. They attack not only livestock but family pets as well. I was surprised to see you using Greyhounds to take them out. I would have thought that Wolfhounds would be better suited for this job.

How old, typically, do they need to be to dump with a couple old dogs on a coyote?
