I have a crowntail and a double tail moon, my crowntail 1st had issues so I did a treatment but his fins still look a little rough but better, i don't know how long after 3 rounds I should see improvement...my dbl tail started showing signs and I immediately took out the plastic plant and gave it a cpl days but then his fins got worse so I started treatment...I took the filter out but kept it on to move the water, is that ok? I'm so sad and worried 😢

My betta has fin rot and I am new to this so I have been doing a lot of research on how to treat this. My question is... So on day 1 you did a complete water change with full amount of aquarium salt(fully dissolved) and conditioner (my tank is 2.5 gal) then on days 2-10 you do a 50% water change adding = amount of dissolved salt and conditioner, is this correct? Don't use plastic and gravel in your tank. Use real plants with good substrate and your fish will live longer.

Hoping this works. Came back from class to find one of my female bettas swimming near the filter. My cat had stuck her paw in the tank trying to scoop her out. One of my resboras already had become cat kibble this week😭

Can I dose 5 gal of water and then pour some into a 1.5 gal hospital tank?

Make sure you get rid of those plastic plants they can rip your bettas fins which could also cause the fin rot. Only use silk plants and real plants with bettas because plastic plants sharp.

If I only have the salt is it okay?

hi I have a question. if the fin rot comes back after using Stresscoat and aquarium salt, should I resort to an antibiotic or should I retry the aquarium salt?

How often do I do water changes?

I've done everything. I've changed the whole tank and am using the salt and my Ross is just getting worse. I don't even know how he keeps hanging on. I'm heartbroken because I don't know what eles to do.

im a bit late but my betta has had fin rot for the last few months i tried everything it has slowed down a lot but its not getting better thank you for the info so now i am going to increase the dosage of salt for his treatment that he currently is in

Yea so one of my cats is weird and she started licking the tape lol, it worked on my other cat though. Btw love the tank, I did a similar style with a big log for my beta in a 7 gallon and he loves it
