This is "Kenny Everett's New Year's Eve Show" version, re-recorded in 1979. I replaced sound track and made some edits at the beginning and ending. Not best, but pretty good version I think. I hope many fans will enjoy it!

Jeez, That guitar solo from Belieu at = 5.48 to 6.25 is absolutely brilliant, fantastic, & amazing, it can only be described as 'other worldy', its stratospheric, where the hell did he get that from ?. I dont play it that much these days, because if i play it once, then i have to play it 9/10 times on a loop, unbelievable virtuoso guitar playing ! ! !.

This is wonderful. I love the extra notes David puts in on the harmonica in the second ‘verse’ and the ending. He must have been very fond of that melody cause it turned up again on I Can’t Give Everything Away nearly 40 years later ❤

I get there are different genres & if I could be critical of Belew it would be that there's maybe some soul missing in his playing, but thats a minor criticism because he more than makes up for it in sheer mindblowing presence. I can comfotably talk his name in the same breath as the greatest guitarists around, he's that good.
his guitar work on Tom Tom Club's *Genius of Love* is all the proof i need of his soul :)
