At 17:15 in the video you refer to the car as a “2024 Golf STI” as opposed to a GTI. As others have mentioned you gave stats on the Golf R and not the GTI. Perhaps some Video editing is in order sir.

It's a Beauty ! I will test drive this against a 2025 Acura MDX A-Spec Advance which is $12K MORE . The only disappointment is that VW elected to NOT include a power Telescoping / Til;t steering wheel??? My Test drive will be very comprehensive to checkout that 4 Cylinder Turbo - one of my hestitations.

I bought the 2024 SEL R-Line trim last month, and I'm agree with everything you stated. I'm happy with the gas mileage because my previous vehicle for the past nine years was a Jeep Wrangler JKU. I was lucky if I got 14 mpg in it. I'm averaging around 17 mpg in city driving in the VW so far. The infotainment controls need to be backlit, in my opinion, but I will learn to adapt to that.

so I had a 2021 rline loved it and it was totaled so sad ... I drove a few of the 2025 jettas and Im not loving it its a totally different car... I will try this sport out if I can find one !!!

It's nice, but I wish it came with push button start and back seat hvac vents. Probably have to go to the SE for that. But does the SE have the switchback led turn signals and grille light bar?

Just like the 2024 model, there’s nothing new here-just a paint job. It’s unreliable, and every month there’s a new issue that requires a trip to the dealership. Not worth the hassle.
