This video shows our new pallet racks, which were necessary to stack our microcars to make room for more acquisitions in the collection. Kf you pay careful attention, you will see regular KR200 Kabinenroller models as well as the rare and elusive KR201 Sport Model, and two of the original KR175 models. You will also observe many othe rmicrocars in the background.

1930 BSA Sloper 500 Single

Okay, so this is the maiden voyage on the 1930 BSA Sloper 500 single. Unfortunately, the clutch needs some adjustment so I could not avoid a bit of gear crunching trying to engage first or second from neutral, but that should be easy to resolve. This is my first ride on the 1966 Velocette Venom that I imported from Australia several years ago. After dialing it in, I was thrilled to have my first ride on this bike, which is surprisingly light, and balanced and FAST! I am starting to understand why these bikes are so legendary! Please let me know (chasgould@mac.com) if you want me to post more vintage motorcycle and automobile videos!

Lovely bike. I don't buy your theory about why the engines sloped as BSA also made an upright engined bike that year of the same capacity with OHV & that had a sadle tank. More likely is this.... BSA had TT racers a few years earlier with low slung sloping engines & its probable they designed a range of road bikes aimed at youngsters to mimic the look of those racers.
