Red River Shore
Here is our arrangement of the traditional "Red River Shore," performed on July 16, 2020. We learned this song from a recording of Mrs. T.M. Davis of Arkansas. Mrs. Davis sang this song to the reel-to-reel tape machine of students of University of Arkansas professor Mary Celestia Parler on January 17, 1960. This recording is part of Parler's folksong collection, which lives online here: digitalcollections.uark.edu/digital/collection/OzarkFolkSong
The video was shot and edited by Michael Brown.

Here is a performance of "Muskrat Song" over footage of The Creek Rocks recording their Wolf Hunter album at The Studio in Springfield, Missouri. Engineer Eric Shcuchmann made it possible for the project to be recorded to 2-inch analog tape, making The Studio one of the few places left where it can still be done. This video was directed by Jeff Thompson.

Absolutely LOVE this song. I seen them perform it when me and my mother were visiting Branson. They are great performers. I was trying to find the this very song, and was surprised to find a video of the very people I wanted to see perform it.
