bernie is more useful than u think, he can distract lavaes and u can focus on killing dragonfly solo, bernie can aggro army of spiders and u can light them all on fire after all spiders are near him, he can save u from nightmare creatures during nightmare phase in caves, he can be used as a support against some bosses for some bonus damage, aggro ability is very useful, + the nightmare fuel farm is very nice

Bernie is super strong if you invest your skill points into him, especially if you get burning bernie. It does damage to everything that attacks him, so hes great for groups as well as single targets

as a wig casual player i can say that you missed the core weapon on wig charged elding spear right click wagstaff's restrained static on a elding spear and you will have the best weapon on dst

Actually, the everything encyclopedia allows you to make the shadow manipulator crafts with just an alchemy engine (her bookcase also works an alchemy engine as well) You can just completely skip the need for either magic station with it as long as you have an alchemy engine or her bookcase, which is pretty useful for a variety of things

Wickerbottom is fun to play untill you reach lategame where you have no reason to not just swap over to maxwell once you've made all your books.

Wickerbottom is just the best teammate, she is the S tier support for every survivor except herself. Being able to fully negate summer, summon rain for Warly, giving sanity station/books to Maxwell, fast crop grow to Wormwood, farming the best gem since the day 1 (she can take that gem from archives and farm moonstone events) and just give everyone a backpack in the start of the game. If someone is maining wickerbottom it's always easy to play with them

I think that some dishes like Dragonpie are harder to get them Leafy Sallad because of the efort to farm dragonfruits and the season lock (not talking about u wickerbotton) Also some dishes are good, but spoil really fast, which can be negated after killing bee queen, but before that it can make them worst.

Willow x Wortox isn't as viable combo, since Willow tends to kill far more targets that Wortox need, and shenanigans with the bees will end up with Wortox being insane. By the way, Willow is a great teammate, since summoning stars is essential for winter cave adventure. But she will not be using burning frenzy that mach in the coop game, since burning bosses = making fight for your own teammates painful, since they will constantly take fire damage while trying to fight that boss

I really like this video series, it's a very loving insight into the characters, for the most part. But - no offense - I don't think you truely understand how it feels to play Wes yet. Wes isn't about over-preparation, or cowering behind a beefalo - Wes is the ultimate middle finger to the constant and its dangers. There is no better feeling in the game, than facing and overcoming extremely challenging situations as Wes. Sure you can go rush ruins as WX with nightvision, munching on gears - but doing that as Wes, only tripping on shrooms, feels about 10 times more accomplished. You get to test and stretch your limits with the little mime, really hone in on your knowledge and skills. And when it comes to the multiplayer aspect, there is quite a bit of utility Wes has to offer: The speedy balloon. And I dont mean handing it out to other players at the start of the game (which is nice, but they only last 2 minutes and you usually give out 1 balloon each, before you spread out to explore), but it gives Wes the biggest early game speed buff in the game. The speedy ballon has 3 stages: first stage gives 30%, second 20%, and third stage 10% speed buff. Even the walking cane only gives 25%. And if Wes drops the balloon while it still has more than 0% durability, it can be seen on the map by all the players, acting like a flare that only costst 5 sanity. They are especially useful for rushing fuelweaver. If you want to kill and kite the lvl 3 shadow rook, but didn't get enough tusks, to equip everybody with walking canes yet, you can substitude with speedy balloons, and never get hit by the big rook (providing you have a mag and a path, or cobble flooring). The inflatable vest. When you're exploring the sea and are about to sink, you can hand out a couple of these to prevent losing any hp when you drown. Not only do you not have to heal back up, but you also don't have to make booster shots, since it would reduce your max hp aswell. This is quite useful for powder monkey raids, because if you don't attack the monkeys, the stealing attack where they take the first item in your inventory, doesn't count as a real attack and therefore doesn't pop your balloons. Or you just kill them, they leave holes in your boat that you can't fix, and you hand out vests after they're all dead. The party balloon. Like every balloon it costs 5 sanity to make, and for every person that stands inside the confetty zone it gives 1 sanity each second, for 4 seconds. A maximum of 4 players can boost that sanity gain (so 4 sanity each second, for every player inside, for a total of 16 sanity gained ). Since they cost only 5 sanity you can repeat that as many times as you want, if you don't play alone, and if you're standing at max range and perform a dodge when you pop it, the balloon doesn't even hurt you on activation. Lower tool durability drain. This looks like a flat out nerf to the standard survivor experience, since Wes actually drains the same amount of durability for tools like pickaxes, axes and hammers, while mining the same amount of boulders, or chopping the same amount of trees - he just takes longer to do so. But when it comes to ice and fire staves, it actually becomes a buff. Usually they both provide 20 uses, but Wes gets 27 uses out of them, while providing the same effect as any other survivor when used. Sadly that doesn't extend to starcallers, decon staves, or telelocators, but it's still pretty neat imo. Wes could really shine during the old crab king fight, saving a lot of blue gems. Wes is mastery of the game incarnate. Wanna impress your friends or random players on a public server? Why not play the game with one arm tied behind your back? Watch your buddy die to a situation as Wigfrid, where you emerge unscathed as Wes, only to bring them back to life again afterwards. Yes it takes training, and yes you won't do these things automatically when picking the little mime, but if you did put in the hours, and you get to prove your prowess by playing heavily handicapped, then there is just no sweeter feeling the game has to offer in my opinion. THIS is how it FEELS to play Wes. Wes is Bes. ❤

Bacon and eggs should be in S-tier, it gives you 75 hunger, which is equal of daily nutrient consumption of default survivor, 20 healing might be not much, but if you're not in the constant fight you aren't losing much of health daily, you can just walk, do your things while eating bacon and eggs and your health will be restored by some time. Also what was ignored in this video what shouldn't actually be ignored, it's spoilage time. Many crockpot foods are spoiling quickly and they are useful only if you will eat them right after cooking, there are a few dishes that you can actually take with you for a long adventure, and bacon and eggs is the perfect dish for this.

Kabobs actually an S-tier dish in uncompromising mode, since it ignores new monster meats and eggs and you can fully sustain yourself with just spiders

Ratatouille has its use : you should cook it if you have NOTHING exept raw kelp . Kelp is harmful both raw and cooked , so making ratatouille is viable option

Walter = worst

Wendy is the beginner's and a professional's character at the same time, while she has an amazing early game, in the late game she becomes very weak, in my experience she's of the most skill based character, cause you should know when and how agro/deagro/summon/unsummon her sister at the timing, or unless she becomes just a weak Wilson

Kinda funny how you call Distilled Vengeance, Wendy's worst potion, as "The one to make" and 4 of her useful potions as nice to have lol. Revenant Restorative is useful when you have to do multiple small combat (Ruin Rushing) or fighting a horde of small enemies (Hound waves, Frog Rain, Werepigs) Spectral Cure-All is for fighting bosses that deal AOE like Fuelweaver or high chip damage like Beequeen Vigor Mortis is for fight where you have to position a lot like Ancient Guardian, Crab King, Celestial Champion, Twins of Terror, Toadstool and Dragon Fly. Nightshade Nostrum is Nightshade Nostrum Of all the potions, the two shield one are by far the worst to use since it's useless vs boss while there are more economic options when it comes to dealing with mob
