great job
Hello! great video!. Is there any advantage or difference between doing it with make, or doing everything directly with n8n? Another question (sorry!) if is any chance to use a webhook or something to build the simple front end inside the webhook? you are making excellent content; Greetings from Argentina.
Hey! So I'd say it depends on the version of n8n that you're running. n8n's self hosted version offers a ton of value for your money and is going to provide you more scalability than something like a make.com is, that said if you're doing the cloud hosted version on both, I'd still go for the n8n just given it's a more powerful tool, but I always say the best tool, especially when getting started, is the tool you already know. Migrating from make to n8n isn't terribly difficult so if you already know make and aren't worried about scaling but rather just building right now, it could go either way. As for your second question, I'm not sure I'm totally following. Could you give me an example of what you'd want to do with with webhook? Thank you so much for the kind words and if there is anything else I an do to help or anything you want to see please let me know!
@hunterasneed yes im using n8n thats why, so should be pretty much the same as i can see. About the webhook i understood that it respond http so is that is http is not posible to send a webpage as response? Or may be i not quite understand the usage or limitations of webhook...?
@@pyromiko So you typically wouldn't send a webpage back but rather the data that goes inside of the webpage with a webhook. Think about your webpage (HTML, CSS, Javascript) as the structure that is able to take that JSON response back from the webhook parse it, and represent it for you on the webpage but the actual webpage structure would come from a pre-written webpage that you're hosting on your hosting provider. There are technologies out there that will render entire webpages and pass it back to you (the end user) but that's not really the role that webhooks are playing in this use case and in general.
@@hunterasneed right now i think that i get it, is mostly for backend process. Thank you for your patience!
Really appreciate the context slides before the demo. Super helpful. Great video!
Of course! I always go back and forth as to whether or no it's valuable or just taking up space so I love to get feedback like this. If there's anything you'd like to see please let me know.
Thanks!
Finally I find something that speaks to me. I handle DevSecOps in my day job and I love the idea of combining that with no code solutions. I'm putting together my own ops business and honestly have far less experience with the business side. Lemme know if I can help you out, maybe get some business tips in the process 😁
Great video!
Gatekeeping how you built this step-by-step just makes this a 30+ minutes infomercial.
Hey Stefano - no intention of gatekeeping here! Rather, I just am trying to explain both the business and the tech side of things. I want to make this all accessible which is a big reason why I open source and provide the code repo in the description and also make the workflows available. I’d love some feedback on how I can make future videos better though and I really am passionate about educating people on how this all works, even if it is just the high level concepts in some videos and not the end to end buildout. Last thing that I think is worth calling out is that with a solution like this that is going to vary by email provider, vector database, front end interface, I saw it was not only being less about the step by step, but also somewhat complex and highly dependent on your own configuration and experience. The buildout would likely be a couple hour long video (which isn’t bad, but hasn’t been a step I’ve taken just yet as I worried / don’t know if people have the appetite for truly long format content like that). As always, I appreciate the feedback and really just want to keep improving making videos going forward. This is only my 10th or so video so I’m still very much “learning” and working to incorporate feedback at this point!
Nice content.Definitely clone the repo and test it.
I mean this in the most constructive and helpful way as possible, the video has too much fluff
Hey, I can totally understand that. Let me ask you this, can you tell me where you think there’s too much fluff? For context, my big goal with this channel and these videos is to really hit on both the tech and the business side of things. That said, I agree that sometimes I feel like the content leading up to the actual demo can feel long, especially if you already understand the tech and just want to see the demo. Would be happy to hear your take and see if it’s something I can incorporate in future videos!
This was on my wishlist! Phenomenal!

Really good Hunter
will be great to have a real live (sort of) example for something very very basic to break the inertia and start using all tools togheter. Not necessarelly to do any complex but show how you chain all parts.
Funny you say that, my very next video was all about trying to connect the dots with that. How I use my own web interface with Make.com (and why you should too) ua-cam.com/video/1eLLLB4SVng/v-deo.html
Let me know if that helps clear up any of the unknown parts or if I can help in any other way
Great efforts in bringing this to us! Thank you so much! 🙏🏻💯
No problem! If there is something else you want to see let me know! I really appreciate the support.
Very good! Thanks!
Thanks. Just way too many commercials.
I'm sorry! Commercials as in ads or like business context in the video? Happy to try and iterate over time
This is a good video, thank you! My recommendation is to go in depth in to the technical stuff, because they are the really important ones. The video as I understand it shows what you've done but not how you've done it. How exactly to make the interface functional with v0? How to integrate it with n8n? How to upload it to a website? And more... You assume people understand the hard technical stuff very well and go really in depth on the easy stuff :D This is not intended as an offence, but as an advice because I was told I am doing the same stuff when explaining something technical to people that don't deal with it on daily bases.
So you make a great point. That’s actually what my latest video was intended to try and cover because I have heard that feedback of what are all the components, how do they work together, how can I connect the dots, etc. If you have time, let me know if my latest video helps clarify any of that and how I can improve from there. In my experience (which is very limited on UA-cam) it feels as though the best performing videos are in that 10-20 minute duration for the most part so I’m still trying to figure out how to have the right amount of detail at the right duration so it’s still interesting to people.
Hey Hunter, Great Stuff! I look every day for the 3rd video of the series to drop, any thoughts on when and if you are going to put the backend AWS video together? Thanks, really enjoy your content!
Dean! Great news, part three is now live!
woow
Thanks for the video. Just a heads up: you don't need to use AWS Secrets Manager to store the credentials. In n8n you can create a secret for a custom credential just like you can for built-in nodes. Just create either a Basic Auth or Header Auth credential and then you can reference it in the HTTP Request node.
Hey, yeah you're totally right. For whatever reason I was in my head that I couldn't use the stored credentials function for the OpenAI call and must have been in the same headspace for the Beehiiv call. That said, I do still like the pattern of having secrets in AWS to be able to pull them in (and automation the rotation of them) but the callout is totally right!
@@hunterasneed for sure, and it's probably more secure too having them in a dedicated place. It just brings added complexity for most people so the n8n-managed secrets make it easier. But again, thanks for putting this together!
Really good explanation 😊
Nice one
Great and insightful video! Hosting a website affordably and getting everything online is one thing, but attracting traffic to the site is another challenge altogether and can become significantly more costly. Do you have a strategy for this, or are you planning to use tools like Google Ads and tracking pixels? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
So that’s a great call out. There are some of the obvious things like SEO and what not that can improve it, but really even if you have a differentiated tool you’re still likely going to have to use your traditional avenues (social media (maybe even a video like this), word of mouth, communication with your existing customers, etc). On the note of ads, I think that could work, but there’d need to be a more clear path to upsell (like offering a feature of a SaaS for free and then upselling the platform from there) than what I’m covering in this video. I do have analytics setup on this site though so I will be able to get a sense of the overall usage / traffic. With all that said I do still feel like putting good free “value” in the world has a funny way of working line karma does where it hopefully all catches up, but again not always the case and also not a strategy either.
Great video. Could you please do a tutorial on how to build this kind of Saas and how to connect n8n with the front end?
Hey Alex - I'm actually working on a video describe that right now. Any chance you'd want a preview of the content so you could weigh in and see if it's what you're looking for?
@@hunterasneed sure. Happy to connect. What is the best way to connect?
@@alexandremorey8993 Can you send me an email hunter@gettingautomated.com?

Golden nuggets here, great video!
Hey Hunter! great content, please keep it up such content. One question how did you know that customer has already put in the email? because you didn't create an account for him or what so ever, Is it stored in the local storage?
Yes local storage in the browser. I figured it be easier that way and create a better user experience
@@hunterasneed i am assuming the local storage get cleaned or something periodically, if the user puts in email again do you get another duplicate email ?
Great video Hunter, always love the content, thanks for sharing this!! ❤. Any idea when we can expect the last video from previous series Domains to Dollars for auto deploying?
Working on finishing that all up! Currently looking at mid to end of next week for that. Just need to do a little more testing of it all!
@@hunterasneed Awesome! Thanks for sharing this!
@@myandrobox3427 Hey! Just wanted to let you know part 3 is live!
@@hunterasneed you rock! Huge thanks! 💯🔥🙏🏻
Hello Hunter! Great video, I am stoked to be the first one commenting. Would you be willing to consider making a tutorial on integrating a frontend with v0 with database calling functions through n8n? I would like to see both supabase and pinecone integrations. Would be awesome if you could make a tutorial on that, because easy backend development seems to be the harder problem that not many other youtubers, who teach app creation/coding/composing etc are addressing. Since this is the only comment, I might give you some context: I'm building a delegation assistant as a chrome extension. The user inputs an outcome/goal for today, this gets posted into supabase, uses an LLM step and returns delegation suggestions into a dynamically updated field in the chrome extension. Then the chosen delegation suggestion gets sent to agents (in n8n or relevance ai), which execute it. I have ran into issues calling the supabase api directly, so I believe sending the data via webhook to n8n and have it call supabase would be a solution. Appreciate your tutorials. Cheers
@florianrolke - thank you so much for the comment! I’d really love to talk about this more. Any chance we could connect on a call? I actually just did a supabase rag project for a customer that I was debating doing a video about and this comment may be what I was looking for to make that happen!
Api is not free. Is there a free option?
@@SerhatDemirkan Unfortunately not that I’m aware of. For something like this the API cost should be very minimal though (less than a dollar a page) so it shouldn’t be any sort of large expense.
HUNTER we need to talk asap! Im similar to you, just a little more impulsive. Last christmas on rum and egg nog I got my carts up to 250 domains! Honestly tho, not embarrassed or regretting it. Youll see what I see, but you literally put together what Ive been putting off for months, the domain to dollar automation flow. Really we should discuss huge value and for sure I promise you a productive chat. I value time
my annual bill is 6k+
@@SecretProfitsClub oh man! Good to know I’m in good company haha. But yes, would love to talk, feel free to schedule some time with me or to shoot me an email (hunter@gettingautomated.com)
Great! Now, can you create a landing page/SEO optimized/front end portal so I can just input my info and out comes the landing page? You know, the automated version! You could set this up and charge for it! I need this so I can just create landing pages for my domains as I need to build them now versus learn what you are showing us here in your YT Channel!
👀👀 Brian, you may be reading my mind
Thanks. Just subscribed and looking forward to the next video. Please "dumb" down your workflow for those of us who are not at your coding and AI automation knowledge level!
Absolutely, working on finding that perfect balance but will really focus on that for future videos.
Why are you sharing screens with the smallest possible font sizes on the largest possible monitor. Don't you realise not all people watch UA-cam on 80 inch monitors? Zoom in!
Totally fair, working on finding the right scaling setup for these. Will get it dialed in over the next few videos
@@hunterasneed thanks for your reply... Also I did enjoy seeing the automation. Some great ideas there.
@@hunterasneed I also wanted to pay your attention to small letters and that all the screen text starting from the middle of the video is almost unreadable even on my 27" monitor - they are too small...
@simasj1 definitely going to fix this going forward
🤯
Hey bud, didn't receive the email with the n8n files.
Ahh man, can you send me an email (hunter@gettingautomated.com) and I’ll send them over? I’ve had some people say it’s going to spam for them but happy to send them directly

Love the series.. You can improve it by adding SEO config (allow you to change metadescription) and Template config (allow you to easily switch out the theme easily) Meta of the meta.
Funny you mention that, I was actually just about to open a PR with a template tag and have a few templates designed for this. Also, totally agree on the SEO. I’m working on a backlog of things to add to the repo to show what improvements are in the works
Absolutely great work, ❤💯 great example for leveraging n8n, I am excited about the final part of deployment via automation.
Hey Hunter , really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
I do more traditional web development and maybe a year ago I switched over to using a config JSON object for site data and tailwind theming to help speed up the process and it's been great. Can you provide a url of one of these sites in the wild? I want to look at it with page speed insights. I have dabbled with the idea of not using frameworks for these types of one page sites because of performance issues.
