I went against my cooking instinct and burned the first batch by following this recipe as it. The mixture was just not wet enough to cook for an hour even at low heat the lemon juice is not enough. The honey completely burned almost 20 mins in. I had to redo the whole thing and I watched it every 10 minutes. I added a little water as needed to keep it moist and it worked out great.

Look, I like peas as much as the next guy. But why do vegans and vegetarians put them on literally everything? You could have replaced them with olives, and probably made this 10x as good.

Looks like them sauce. Soy sauce . garlic . ginger and the clear liquid is either mirin or rice vinegar. Green onion
