Easy 12.5 Circuit Boards / Min Factory for Trains! | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 15
We've unlocked trains, but we need a LOT of computers for our network. Path and block signals will be crucial as we expand our build out to include the entire map, which means we need computers, which means we need circuit boards.
In today's episode we retrofit our fuel facility to give us some free synthetic fabric AND 12.5 circuit boards per minute.

Easy 30/min Stator Factory! | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 13
Переглядів 3647 годин тому
In our journey towards motors, we have our rotors but need stators, which can be confusing because you need iron, copper, and coal to get them going. This build will take you up to 30 / min, which should be more than enough to scale into the middle tiers of the game.
Setting Up Tractors & Truck Stations! | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 12
Переглядів 1,1 тис.9 годин тому
We finally unlock a non-belt way of moving items around our factories...tractors and truck stations! While tractors aren't AMAZING and you'll start using trucks in no time, it's great to get a feel for how truck networks work by getting a few tractors set up.

Today we unlock a few crucial early game items in the MAM. Getting these EARLY will dramatically increase your enjoyment of the early game. Blade Runners let you run and jump far faster than you've been able to so far, ziplines are the fastest early game transport method, and nobelisks allow you to unlock new areas of the map as well as new resources.
Setting Up Your First Dimensional Depots | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 9
Переглядів 19819 годин тому
The Dimensional Depot is hands-down the best addition to Satisfactory 1.0, as it unlocks the ability to access materials from anywhere on the map, provided you have enough uploaded. In today's guided playthrough we set up our first SAM factory, allowing us to reanimate the SAM, create SAM Fluctuators, and finally...unlock our very first dimensional depot.
Easiest Steel Factory Setup | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 7
Переглядів 90121 годину тому
Steel marks the first time in your Satisfactory playthrough where you need TWO inputs to create one raw material - a steel ingot. It's a bit more complex, as the coal required isn't as commonly found around the map, but with a little belt highway action, you'll have steel pipes and beams in no time.
Easy 5/min Modular Frame Factory | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 6
Переглядів 1,1 тис.День тому
Modular frames are where many beginner Satisfactory players start to get confused. They're the first item you have to automate that requires an item from an assembler - the reinforced iron plate. They can be intimidating, but with a little planning (and a lucky alternate recipe) you can break modular frames down and make an easy 5 per minute in the early game.

Building Hub Tiers 1-6! | Satisfactory 1.0 Guided Playthrough Ep. 1
Just a little tip! Use batteries with the geysirs! That way you have a way of knowing exaclty how much power you can use at once, and you can save the energy when the generators make a lot of energy for when they make only a little:)
Am i the only one that keeps a calculator at my desk
One of us
ahhh i was just wondering about this in my game today! Thank you!
No problem!
Saw something similar a while ago. I just don’t get how to create a mall yet, since everything is really spread out still. Guess that will be a part of our play through some time in the future, too?
Mall coming once I get the main base figured out!
Yo thank you so much thats gonna save sooooooo much time 🫸🏻🫷🏻😌
@@bendtebanan.9479 you're welcome!
I didn't know any of this, I've been doing mental math and tabbing out of the game to use the calculator app
Now you know!
I did know this!
w satisfactory vid
My man
Btw if you go on a hard drive hunting tour again, you might want to show them the photo mode with zoom funktion and getting rid of the photo grid with middle mouse button, its great to look into the distance. Good job on explaining anyway
@@KuraundoClown good idea!!
I cannot wait to tell my cohosts this x3
@@Virtual_Maid_Miyu you're gonna blow their minds
I thought somebody would know by now, but I guess I'm pretty early to the party. Either way, I'm really enjoying the series. Are you Belle Delphine?
😂 yes want some bath water?
Thanks, it took a bit, but i was able to make a similar single-lift for my SAM node after seeing your guide. I know I've heard your voice somewhere, it's killing me.
You might get it...
Great videos. New to the game and watched a ton of guide videos, but yours have been the best to follow. Makes the game a little less overwhelming. However, are there some videos missing between this one and stator one?
There are - I lost a few bits of footage, so I'll do an update video on a few factories I've built in the next episode
Awesome. Great to hear. I just got to crude oil extractors and immediately blew my mind trying to figure out the system. I appreciate all the hard and good work. And no idea who you are, but you’ve got me curious to find out.
@th7267 yeah oil can get tricky because there are so many different ways you can approach it!
@@TheGreenhandGames Nice to hear, I was already going crazy figuring out were I could have missed you building the fuel factory :D
Love your channel so far, keep it up! Going to start scouring youtube to find your identity so I can get the free copy of the game 😆
LOL, good luck!
You should see improved audio and editing in this video - onwards and upwards on The Greenhand!
I loved the tractors and trucks on my update 8 playthrough, but skipped it for 1.0 If you setup hwys, I recommend 3 blocks wide one way. Really helps when you switch to trucks later. If setting up a large hub with multiple stations, it works best to have one way in and then one way out with long lanes between for the stations. When you get lots of traffic, it helps to prevent congestion having long lanes for each station, trucks will queue in line and wont block others. Its easy to expand too. But honestly with mk6 belts and trains, trucks and tractors are futile. I rushed research and only automated essentials to be able to build mk 5 before I fully automated everything with trains to a central hub and completed the final phase. Been working on a nuclear plant and map-wide logistics grid for almost two months now.
Amazing tips. I found three foundations is the minimum as well to remove any potential issues. Will probably end up building that out in this playthrough!
@TheGreenhandGames subbed
Appreciate you
Can you clarify your approach to the trucks - I wasn't able to follow it in the video. How do you determine when a part should be moved by truck, or just rebuilt on-site? For example - when making Encased Industrial Beams, should I create an Encased Industrial Beam factory and bring in the Steel Beams from the Steel Beam & Pipe factory and the Concrete from the Concrete factory? Or should I just find a location that has access to Coal, Iron Ore, and Limestone and build everything I need on-site. Or some other combination?
It's honestly a choose your own adventure, but the way I approach it is the lower level the component, the more likely I am to make it on site as an input to a more complex factory that is also in the same location Earlier on in the game before you get trains and drones, I will often just create a quick truck route though instead of rebuilding. So in your example I'm more likely to truck steel pipes/beams to concrete than the reverse, since concrete is a base level component
I will take this time to remind you that you will be bottlenecked by your CPU and your read/write speeds on your drives, the former more than the latter.
Truth
Very neat!
Please use your sommersloops
suprised that this channel does not have thousands of subs. nice vid, nice mic quality.
It will soon!
I’ve never seen this game before, is it like 3D factorio?
Basically!
I'm pretty confident that I know who you are, but since I've already had the game for years, I'll keep it to myself. If you are who I think you are, the other channel has been really helpful to me for the past couple years. Meanwhile, hope you keep going with this!
You might be on to something...
Tractors and Trucks are the most unreliable ... once you are in another part of the map ... those lazy bums stop driving their tour
True they are kind of annoying but they do reset if they run into stuff for a while
You have saved me so much time AND math. thank you, my good man.
My pleasure!

In the chat
How did you get the roads? I don't see them in the store? Do I have to research Jump pads or something? I skipped them since I saw no need. My tractors get deadlocked all the time since I drive like I'm drunk, blind and crazy.
Roads need to be built manually! I'll share some blueprints
Huh. How satisfying.
Right?
Man I gotta get back into satisfactory. Somersloop having a use now is wild
You can just change your Date and Time in Windows to whatever later date you want and you will get all the unlocks earlier 🎉
True!
Never got into the truck/tractors (casual player). What happens if your supply overstretches your demand? What happens to the remaining items it was supposed to drop off?
I believe it just keeps running and not unloading, but continuing the loop as long as it has fuel
@@TheGreenhandGames correct
I have loved all the videos keep up the phenomenal work. Is this Babish?
Not Babish! But a big fan of his
Just saw your video pop up on my feed, great content. Hard to find chill playthroughs these days that explain (with numbers) what youre doing. Great stuff! + 1 sub
@@MotocampingMutt welcome, glad to have you!
I watched 3 episodes back to back and if I'm not mistaken the new mic/mic setup really kicks in although the old one didn't sound any bad at all!
Glad you noticed! I just had to figure out the levels better 😂
If I use more sinks, can I collect the coupons produced by all sinks on one single sink?
yeah
Yup, I have them everywhere
I hate the tractors, mine deadlocked so much but thats because i was too lazy to make dedicated roadways LOL. cant wait to get to the drones. The automated wire was super quick and easy so dont worry about that being a big thing like the smart plates and the versatile frameworks
Drones are SO nice. I wish they came a bit earlier
@TheGreenhandGames what time do they enter the game? I was under the impression I would get them in like maybe phase 4, unless theyre much much more late game than I thought. Also sorry to talk to you about the phases like that, I forgot that this is a replay for you and you have a lot more hours in the game LOL
They come in tiers 7-8 I believe!
@@TheGreenhandGames WOW I'm about 70 hours in maybe more and I'm only now about to hit tier 3, granted I tore everything down and rebuilt from scratch about 3 times taking my time with the game but still, I was hoping to have them soon 🥺 at least I'm about to get trains, can't wait to give that a shot. I'm just excited to get rid of the tractors in a way that doesnt involve me building 1000m long conveyers
@@ampyy-9106 Trains are a TON of fun once you figure out how they work. That episode is coming soon...
Great video, I’m working through fixing my rookie mistakes and have spent about 30 hours this week learning how to use these tools to calculate out production
Good luck! It's tough when you first start out in this game
Shorts now, too. Nice!
Gonna do a bunch of little tips I wish I knew!
@ Great! You’ve already helped me a lot with your tips since I‘m in my first real playthrough. Thanks a lot for that!
You bet!
8 Coal generators is 3 water extractors. 2 2/3 x 3 = 8
Correct but then you have to deal with 360 water in a Mk. 1 pipe, which can only carry 300
@@TheGreenhandGames It seems if you make a loop with three, it splits it 180 each way. I add a pump on each end too.
Yeah there are ways to perfectly optimize it early game but I find for total beginners, just overbuilding slightly 2 extractors -> 4 coal generators is a bit easier to grasp
Stumpy Knubs?
Nope!
Lock Picking Lawyer?
Good guess but no!
i'm not new to satisfactory but i do get overwhelmed quite quickly when we need a LOT of assemblers and lets not talk about manufacturers lol Loving these vids so far. by any chance does your channel now have 3.6m followers (ish) and do you wear shades in all your videos? voices aren't quite the same so i'm not 100% sure on who you are but these vids are cool and chill which is awesome
Close to 3.6! But not wearing shades in the videos...
@@TheGreenhandGames well bugger not who I was thinking then. Shades are their signature look

Nice video! Helped a lot. Could you check that your audio is centered? because it sounds like its little to the left. Or is it intended to separate from game audio?
Fixed it in future videos!
Although I've completed the game several times and dont really need a guide of any sorts, I clicked on this video. And I'm thankful for UA-cam recommending this to me, I really liked the video and am excited to watch the others.
Appreciate you watching! It's a funny game - you can play it, beat it, and immediately want to play it again a different way
The Zipline is also a great tool for exploration when using them with the power towers 😁
It is!
