UK based northern rock band Pretty Velvet are known for the powerhouse dual-fronting female/male vocals of Leah Maeve Young and Daniel Maple, their unforgettable presence both on stage and online, and their undeniably timeless aesthetic and velvet sound. Channeling the giants of rock and roll, whilst exploring elements of pop, blues, soul and funk, the band utilise their shared love of all music to show a respectful nod to that raw retro rock sound and fuse that energy with modern colour, resulting in an exciting and eclectic escapade for listeners across generations.
Now entering a new era of love, freedom and self discovery with their upcoming single ‘A Love Like You (Everybody Talks)’, this group of live wire misfits aim to bring back vibrant honesty and authenticity to a modern world, whilst also refocusing the lens through which that world views women in rock music.
