RTX 4090, 16GB Ram, Intel 12 core CPU clocked at 5ghz

Oblivion is a single threaded 32 bit application and can only utilise one CPU core so the clock speed is the only spec that makes any difference. The other is the HDD speed, the game engine has a bottleneck when it comes to streaming in assets. The only thing that can alleviate this is with a top of the line hard drive. You can't get away with cheap hardware for this, a low end SSD might be good at quick bursts of speed but if the performance is less consistent that a HDD then it will still stutter more overall. What you need is a workhorse like the 8TB Seagate ST8000DM004-2CX188 or a newer model.

@@ihatefallout ok thanks for answer, i do not know what is going on but when I turn off v-sync and change resolution from 4K to 2560/1440 and now got 70fps than back again for previous settings and there shoud be again 30fps but instead of this i have 45-50 fps, very strange thing

yeah it's a 0.2 sec hitstop effect but it does sometime look like a stutter lol

Use Wryebash to install everything and sort with Loot, most of the mods are straightforward enough just make sure you get in the habit of looking at the readme.text instruction

@@ihatefallout Oh yeah always the readme. But i have zero knoledge of Wrybash, that shit always looked like arcane knowledge to me lol.

It's pretty much (Oblivion Reloaded E3) out of the box, I just tweaked the fog so it is always low hanging mist.

@@ihatefallout sorry, I’m on my girl’s account and feel weird operating under that pretense😂 but I assumed oblivion reloaded was giving me the thick fog in towns that was taking my frames in game, it might be the one weather mod I installed tho. I just wondered if it was OR doing it.

@ihatefallout oh I know, but oblivion was still better characters reacted to being hit by you instead of whatever they did in skyrim .

I do enjoy hitting the same guy 57 times and barely doing damage, and he hits once and i perish

If the next ES game doesn't have a Mordhau style combat system I will be disappointed tbh

@@henrywalton5967 Elder Scrolls 6 personal predictions: Improved graphics and larger map using proc-gen from Starfield. Set in Hammerfell with an emphasis on small islands for the player to sail to adapting the ship building mechanic in SF. Main quest will be atrociously written, but side quests and characters will be better due to hiring writers from Fallout London. An evolution of the civil war from Skyrim between 3 factions (Imperial Legion, Dominion & Hammerfell Independents using radiant quests. In Skyrim you were Dragonborn, in Starfield you are the Starborn and in Elder Scrolls 6 you will probably be Yokudanborn?

It's a joke, compared to Elder Scrolls I hate Fallout but I still love Fallout 3 it's just 2nd favourite ;)

Yeah I hate that, there is some sort of bloom but it's very subtle which helps to not blow out the scene during foggy day time weather

@@raydil2281 If you come back in a year there should be some interesting mods because the Red Kit 3 was released only a couple of weeks ago. There has already been a new fully voiced quest mod since then.
