I have put nearly 350miles on my board in the past six weeks commuting to and from work. The board is waterproof and handles plenty of water no problem. Not sure how waterproof the remote is though but it seems to be holding up so far. The biggest problem with riding in the wet is the amount of water which is thrown up off the wheels - everything you are wearing gets soaked!! (Mud guards on their way) The only other issues I have had with water are with the bearings. They are not water proof! so after riding in the wet allowing it to dry over a weekend they can often be seized come Monday. I have ordered replacements and will be fitting them this weekend along with new tyres, as the tread was completely gone on mine after only 250miles. Summary Board is waterproof - bearings are not! Tyres wear out really quickly only 250 miles to bald! Range only 11 - 12 miles with 110kg rider Needs a faster (3rd) speed option Really smooth comfy board to ride for daily commuting :D
