Edward's Trust is a local West Midlands charity providing support for bereaved children, young people and parents.
We have 35 years of experience and operate at the highest level, providing qualified counselling and holistic support for complex or prolonged grief. We do not set time limits and the service is completely free.
We do not get Government funding; therefore, we rely on donations to keep this vital service going.

Skydive for 35 - Celebrating 35 years of Edward's Trust
Our grand scale skydive last Saturday 14 September at Langar Airfield in Nottingham was an incredible experience, 35 brave skydivers jumped off a plane to celebrate 35 years of Edward’s Trust!
With weather that couldn’t have been better for it, it was a day filled with strong emotions: adrenaline, nerves, memories and joy; tears as well as lots of smiles. There are no words to describe it.
Collectively, the 35 skydivers raised over £40,000 pounds, making a huge difference and allowing us to continue supporting bereaved parents, children and young people across the West Midlands. Huge thank you to them and to all the over 1200 people who individually donated as part of the campaign. Without your support, none of this would have been possible!

The KWB 100 Metre Abseil in aid of Edward's Trust

On 30th June 2023, KWB Propery Management, big supporters of Edward's Trust organised their second abseil in aid our bereavement charity. 69 wonderful supporters of Edward's Trust abseiled down Bank Tower Two at the height of 100 metres and 33 storeys. It was a fabulous day and raised a massive amount of money to help us support children and families facing loss and surviving bereavement.

A total of 67 daredevils will descend one of Birmingham’s tallest residential buildings on Friday 30 June to raise money for local charity Edward’s Trust. On May 13th 40 brave supporters took on the fastest zip wire in the world (Velocity 2 in North Wales) to raise money for Edward's Trust bereavement charity. It was a scary, exhilarating, amazing day and in total, after expenses, they raised over £2,400!

Edward's Trust offer holistic bereavement support to children, young people and families facing loss and surviving bereavement across the West Midlands. In addition to counselling we also offer wellbeing support. This wellbeing away day was part of that support.
