It’s nothing like a regular day care. My kids wanted to go to Camp Ocean instead of visiting ports with us. That’s how much they loved it. But we took them with us anyways. lol you usually get about 3 -4 hours. And there’s a morning and evening shift. So they can be there any time during those times. Most Carnival ships also offer kids dinner where they take them to the buffet or Family Harbor on the ships that have one. I am not sure about the Dream. But it’s nice when it’s available because my husband and I were able to go to Specialty dining one time and the kids had their own dinner at Club Ocean.

@@elisadasilva8321 congratulations on getting started with Spark! I usually just stick with my Biloxi super center and the 3 neighborhood markets around it because it’s closest to home. I haven’t done any from the OS super center. But I’ve done quite a few from diberville and Gulfport ones too. I just ended up putting so many miles on my car that for the past 3 months or so I just decided to stay close to home because the money ended up being the same. I suggest you try them all out for a week each and see if it makes a difference for you as far as a particular location being better than the one you have. I will occasionally pick up an offer from outside of Biloxi if I’m already in that general area. And unfortunately there’s no way to know which store is getting more offers as the projections that they show us are for the entire zone. So it’s kind of “fingers crossed it’s for the store that I’m at” lol

@ I was basing it on which stores I kept getting offers from, ALL of them way too far. Any thoughts on if a certain time of day is better? A lot of people say don't trust their projection charts

@@elisadasilva8321for me the best times are 7-10 and 12:30-5. It’s usually pretty dead or super low offers between 10-12. Fridays for some reason aren’t great. I thought they would be, but they aren’t. But the rest of the days are pretty much the same. Mondays and Tuesdays are consistently good to my surprise.

@@khyu80 they do! We’re very lucky to be with such generous people. And as you know- Mississippi is poor, but by God- everyone is such a generous tipper! I think maybe it’s because we live in an area where many people work in service industry. Like casinos and restaurants and themselves depend on tips.. But yes- very blessed with the tips here!

@@MusicLover7499-p6g most likely not. At least in the near future. I’m definitely trying to stay away from fillers for as long as possible. The only fillers I’ve gotten in the past were lip ones and that was many years ago. Going to ride it out looking more like myself for as long as possible before doing fillers. I was completely against Botox for the longest time up until very recently when my forehead started taking center stage. And my makeup would start creating pronounced creases on my forehead. So I gave up. I also started using retin-A daily to combat aging skin. I’m hoping that the retinol in conjunction with tox will be sufficient enough for me for a while. The way I look at these type of treatments is once you start- you cannot go back. Because once you go back you will feel awful about the way you look. So either be confident in being able to afford it indefinitely (not me lol) or feel like you’ve aged enough that once the medicine wears off and if you cannot afford to get it done in time- the reality of what I look like isn’t going to kill off my self esteem. Also I am trying to lose about 20 lbs. I’ve lost 9 so fat and have 20 to go. Everything including the face look so different after weight loss. So if I was to do fillers again- it would most likely be after I’ve reached my other aesthetic goals. Specifically the weight one.

@@MusicLover7499-p6g part 2: but if I had a lot of spare money- I’d do freaking EVERYTHING!! Lipo, lifts, tucks- every single thing that’s available. So the only restraints I’m facing is the financial ones. lol that’s why I’m so cautious.

@@randy4768 I’ve not been on Elation as it’s the sister ship to the Fascination which was my first ever Carnival cruise back in 2003 (I went by myself) that made me not want to cruise again lol until my mom asked me to join her on a Princess cruise (sponsored by mom) in 2004. The Breeze (2024) I actually enjoyed a lot. But I agree with you that Spirit is definitely better. In fact- for me- it’s one of my most favorite ships! My husband feels the same way. If the only cruise I was able to take for the rest of my life was Carnival Spirit- I’d be so happy! We enjoyed everything about it! And it’s so quirky with its decor such as the jungle room and its opulence- it’s just great! 😊 it has the best ship to passenger ratio out of any ship we’ve ever been on. And I agree with you- balconies are overrated. We hardly ever use them. So we just get ocean view ones instead. Also a lot safer when traveling with children. I don’t trust mine at all with balconies and my kids are very well behaved. But you never know!

The Spirit had the best food, entertainment, and staff. My room steward was great. The kids on the ship were put together during the cruise for rehearsal of Christmas show. The Christmas show was the last night on way back to mobile. Each age group sang a different song. Really cute with Santa and the Grinch.

@@randy4768Aww that’s awesome and so cute!!! Carnival does such a great job with the kids! Mine are Camp Ocean age and they don’t ever want to leave it! They haven’t experienced it on the Spirit, but I’m sure it’s just as wonderful as on Carnival’s other ships. 😊
