Much needed! I’m so intimidated by the embroidery.😅
There's no need to feel intimidated, but the course will certainly help! Thank you!
So looking forward to this! ❤
Thank you so much, Jo!
Cannot find the link to watch you crochet the eyes!!
Hi Gail, we are about to launch the course for the eyes embroidery. It is not available yet, but, when launched, it will be only on our website! Thank you!

Thank you so much! Book a time slot on my calendar in the description! I'd love to hear from you!
Thanks, this is very helpful!
You are more than welcome, dear!
Hi! Since you😮changed the color, do you cut off the first color yarn? Thanks for sharing such great information!
Hi Martha! I'm glad you liked the video! Cutting off the first color yarn depends on your project. If you will have another round with the same color next, then I would just leave it there. If not using it anymore, you can cut it off! I hope this helps!
Hi. In my 45+ years of crocheting I have never seen such a fantastic way of finishing off. Thanks for creating the video. I will definitely be using this method, when appropriate from now on.💜🇬🇬💜
All beautiful but I wish there was a pattern that included a more Asian eye.
We do have a Japanese doll in our collection, called Yuki! Have a look at our website www.crochetree.com. Thank you, dear!
@@crochetree thank you!!
Wow.. Thank you for sharing
You are welcome! Thank you so much, Sarah!
Do you start the dolls from the legs up?
Yes, I do! I make the feet first, then go up to the neck.
What brand hook are you using- I need better ones, the cover keeps coming off!
I usually use either Clover or Tulip, but we are about to launch our own crochet hooks! Stay tuned, Yolanda! Thank you!
@@crochetree Thank you. Will be watching for them!!!😉
Thank you I'm working on Hannah and am about to begin on her hair.💙
No worries at all, thank you so much, Yolanda!
Hello, you indicated that the yarn should go through the BLO of the stitch that the thread/yarn is coming from, but it looks like you went through both loops. Which is correct? Both loops or the BLO only? Thanks for sharing🧶💓
Hi Gina! You are welcome! Thank you for your comment! I think it's the angle that is not allowing you to see very well... you need to get the back loop (not the front loop) and the bar behind the loop. You don't get both loops. Take a look again at the video. You will see that the front loop is below the place where you need to introduce your needle.
I used the UA-cam zoom feature this time, and I now see my mistake, you're right, it's the back bar, not both loops. Thank you🧶💓.
@@ginagina9236 You are welcome, dear! Thank you!
Are there tutorial videos to watch ?
Thank you so much! Great technique.

Thank you so much for this video, it makes the color change very nicely finished ❤
You are more than welcome, Monique! I'm glad you love it!
Thank you for this! Can you please provide the next next step after the chain stitch? Is it single crochet into the next stitch, all the way around? Thank you 🙏
No worries at all! The next step will basically depend on the project you are working on! In this case, I worked single crochet stitches all the way around!
Thank you for another great and very helpful video.
You are more than welcome! Glad you like it!
I just ordered Iris. This video will be very helpful! I would love to see a video of how to crotchet the foot of the doll.

Thank you for sharing. I just finished my first doll, Melissa, and I had to figure it out on my own because I crochet with my left hand and I have to reverse the steps in your instructions.
I'm also left handed.I'll keep plugging away because I really love the look of these dolls. Glad to know I'm not alone.!
Hi. I cannot wait to make this for my granddaughter. Can you tell me what the size hook I need is? That is the only thing I cannot figure out!
Hi Elsa, most of the time I use crochet hooks 2.0 and 2.5. The instructions include the hook size as well. Many thanks!
