IN 3 Days rec room is going to be hosting their Yearly convention REC CON. If you're not familiar with Tec con it's a yearly convention rec room that has been housing science 2020. At rec con they have lots of events and panels to visit. So from the 26th and the 29th I'm going to be sort of “Vlogging” each day of rec con. Now let's get started
Day 1
Like any other rec con the first day was pretty uneventful. Once I got there I had a look at the store and got my rec con gear. After that I looked at some of the booths and partook in this year's rec con mini games. There was a game where you had to find all the goblins and another where you had to catch a player wearing a candy costume before they collected all the candy. Then I found a room where you can paint stuff with your body. Right as i was half way done painting steve i got an event notification about an “afterparty”. At first i thought it was the official after party for rec ron but apparently it wasn't and you could tell by joining it. It was being run by a single person and there was complete cayos. But unfortunately i couldn't go to any of the big events cause i had to work at 5 pm
DAY 2
So day 2 started off pretty much the same as last night. But as I waited for the keynote I just played some of the minigames like collecting more goblins and rec trivia. But once the event started life came and smacked me right in the face… the event was full. The multi intense event was full, so there was no way I could get in, unless. I checked the rec room discord and got seb to bring people in so i messaged him and got in. but my game broke. I couldn't hear the event or see gribbly at all then my game crashed. So unfortunately I couldn't attend the event in person. So I just watched it in my dorm room.. But after this keynote absolutely NOTHING mattered this year's rec con was INSANE.
First they started off with some states and percentages like how there are NUMBER people playing rec room right now this year which is Insane. Then they went over some stuff about Avatar studio such as their player rig and the High Heel system. And also there's a collaboration announcement with Monster High to bring us Rectober which isn't really my thing but I guess you need to advertise to the children somehow. Just kind of going over the stuff they did over the years.they announced that the Early bata Run The Block is going to be the Next RRO which was an interesting surprise but especially that the new RRO will be cloneable But i can’t express how surprised i got when i saw the Room image of crescendo on the screen. THEY ANNOUNCED CRESCENDO FOR QUEST and not only that THEY ARE BRING BACK DOUBLE SHOT OFFICIALLY, AND THEY ANNOUNCED REC ROOM SWITCH TO RELEASE SOMETIME THIS YEAR. Now I don't need to explain how crazy this is. This has probably been one of the craziest keynotes in a while. But besides that fantastic news that's about it for day 2 of rec con
Day 3
The last day of rec isn't as crazy as yesterday but i first checked out the RECtangle with Soulfox, Boe, And ChubbierSnail. And they pretty much just went over the youtube basics the stuff they said is very helpful so if i'm able to ill link the VOD in the description. and the snail was acting like a goober the whole time.then after i went to another event about elevating game quality where they just talked about the current amount of low quality rooms and the 3 strike policy. I was going to attend the Afterparty but unfortunately I wasn't able to.
