Making it easy for you to send a client a link to a discounted service page. 7 - Is there any points system? e.g. 1 point for every £1 spent and each point is worth 1p, with the ability to offer services for a set amount of points i.e. service A is £100 (usually 10,000 points if it's 1p per point) but you offer it for 3,000 points. 8 - Is there any form of way for communication (internally between staff and externally between staff with clients) within Fresha? 9 - Is there any waiting room feature, e.g. x minutes prior to appointment, send the client a message, notifying them to take a seat and wait outside the meeting room with the yellow door. 10 - Is there a way to add photo/s to the services? 11 - Can the inventory tool be utilised for items for sale to the public and those used to complete services internally? 12a - Can you automate blast emails? e.g. when a client makes their 5th purchase, they're sent a 10% voucher? 12b - It would be great if there was an exclusions segment on the blast emails e.g. email all clients who have made 5+ purchases a 10% voucher and then send another email blast with the following rule: email a Christmas promo to all customers (except those who have made 5+ purchases) a 10% voucher. Making all clients feel special vs. "Ohhh, everyone got this deal, not just me for being a loyal customer"

Look into Comb Works, it’s a newer software that I’ve used. I’ve found it to be cost effective with single price, no add ons and all the features of the others.

Thank you John and Kayle for the great content you've provided. As a salon owner of 2 years, I've really benefited from the tips and insights shared here. I'm curious to know if just using a software system is sufficient to manage the day-to-day financials of my business. In my country, the standard practice seems to be to also maintain a physical notebook alongside the software, and to compare the numbers between the two. I also have my own Excel spreadsheet where I track daily income, expenses, and monthly payments. I'm wondering if the software typically provide all the functionality needed, or are the additional records still important? Knowing that it takes lot of time to do so!

Hi John and Kayle. This video popped in my recommended and so glad it did. It's a fantastic discussion and so many salon & spa owners have settled for less. We have been striving to constantly been innovating our software and you have given us some great ideas. Keep up the great work.

I do hourly base commission so depending on the amount of money you bring in determines your hourly rate on a 4-week interval schedule so since you were paid bi-weekly I take the second two weeks add it to the first 2 weeks and that gives you your hourly rate for that pay period. It makes the hairdresser work harder for herself in order to make more money per hour plus if you hit certain quotas you hit bonuses with that. If you get five star review and your name is mentioned you get a bonus. If you hit certain tears with product you also receive different commission rates as well
