Origami - Turtle tutorial
You can buy paper that's made just for making these turtles. I'm not sure where I got mine from, since it was given to me as a gift, but you can probably find it online or in some Asian stores that specialize in arts and crafts.
Enjoy.

Yet another variation on the origami crane, but this time with a rose on it's back, created by the talented origamist Satoyshi Kamiya. This model is a little bit difficult to learn at first, but once you've got the creases down pat, you'll be able to figure this one out. Happy 4th of July to my American neighbours! You will need 30 sheets of square paper. I cut a large piece of paper into 4 so my kusudama would be smaller in size. But of course, you can always make a large kusudama if you wish. To celebrate Independence Day, I'll be showing you how to make a kusudama designed by Tomoko Fuse. I used red and blue paper and thought the star design fit perfectly wi...

To celebrate Canada Day, I decided to show you how to make an origami maple leaf. A lot of maple leaf designs end up looking like a marajuana leaf (lol :P), so I searched through the interwebs for a design that looked true to the famous Canadian maple. This design was created by a brilliant artist, Brian Chan of MIT. Please check out more of his work here: web.mit.edu/chosetec/www/origami/ I ho...

The most mesmerizing moment is when you show the paper at the end of the tutorial, that paper with geometric form and with the colors of the turtle. By using this kind of paper, the turtle looks more realistic. Very impressive. I will try to fold that very cute turtle. It seems not too challenging. I just watched the tuto, i didnt fold yet...best regards

The best moment is when you pull on the paper to form the turtle shell...it is like a Magic trick. I am 50 years old and i am still fascinated by origami and this kind of folding. You start with a triangle form, it is awesome ❤️
