    Hallelujah! I really do not care about the pronunciation of the words. Our society today need you, my mom is no longer here among the living and I truly missed her and she was a great cook and from Louisiana as well. Thank you, and your family for sharing.

    My mom made these, loved them. She didn't use potatoes, only a bit of flour. But potatoes make sense. This is struggle food and potatoes can stretch a meal. So good!!

    Finally! An African-American woman who doesn’t act like she’s in the Chitin Circuit. Be normal in your videos, or else it’s offensive. Not all African Americans are alike. This woman gets a 👍🏽 and subscription, because her behaviors are tasteful.

    I was one of 5 children that helped my mama cooked and at times I hated cause I was the 1 that cooked and cleaned up after the whole family! And to this day I am so happy I did that my own daughter that remembered her grandma's food told me ma your the one that makes it just like Grandma and isn't that special that your hands worked along side your mother that you can bring her Beautiful recipes down to the next generation! Much love to all moms and Grandma's that stay busy in that kitchen! The Purple Hearts award goes to this special lady!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

    • @simplyy.3559
      @simplyy.3559 5 місяців тому

      Salmon in the can is already cooked. Next time, try to cook them for less time. Actually, once their brown on each side, they're done. You can put them in the oven on low to keep warm. Also, add one egg per can used.

    Actually she’s correct. People from the south use the correct pronunciation. A little history on the word. The “L” in salmon is historically silent because the word was borrowed directly from the French word “sauman” (even though the L is present in the original Latin word “salmōn”)
