I agreed with almost all of your hot takes. The one that I disagreed with is dog ear pages and breaking the spine. Like you I can’t stand creases on a page but I also like to keep my books in as like new condition as possible so I don’t usually break the spine. I also prefer hardcover to paperback but sometimes the paperback is cheaper.
@@ednalee906 i completely understand!!! hardcovers do look nicer and on shelves and breaking those spines is really hard lol
