Hello, great video. I recently found out my boyfriend is AD I’ve never heard that genotype before and I’ve been searching online for more info on it but I haven’t seen. I am AS which is why I am being very careful. Pls do you have any information on this genotype?
There's no AD please. Let him meet the lab scientist who conducted the test to explain that result. Or, he run another test in another facility.

Yes. Only if the father has a positive rhesus. The name of the drug is Rhogam
Hi Doc, Am from doing a Sickling Screening Test and the result can out Negative. Does this mean am AA?
It means you are either AA or AS. To know your genotype, carry-out a genotype test. However, the sickling test shows that you are not SS.

I am watching this because my friend from Nigeria asked me my what’s my genotype 😮 and I couldn’t answer the question. Thanks for this video, I understand your video better than the video that he sent to me trying to explain. So the genotype is important to the condition sickle cell. And the phenotype is more based on genetic characteristics like eye color?
