Here's a quick aerial tour of the City of Multan that I recorded during my March 2024 trip to Multan.
After taking off from my parent's home, we fly over their neighborhood to visit the nearby Cathedral of the Holy Redeemer - a Catholic Cathedral consecrated in the year 1940.
We then fly over the Cantonment bazaar and get to see Saint Mary's Cathedral in the distance - a Protestant Cathedral consecrated in the year 1848.
We then head towards the inner walled city of Multan while flying over The Children's hospital and descend onto Multan's Ghanta Ghar - a clock tower constructed in 1884, formerly known as the Northbrook Tower.
We then fly through Gate Qasim to enter Fort Qasim. After quickly passing over the tomb of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam, we descend onto the tomb of Bahauddin Zakariya where a massive iftar dinner was in progress.
We then return to and circle the tomb of Hazrat Shah Rukn-e-Alam before flying over the Hussan Agahi market into the walled city of Multan. We descend to take a quick look into the Imam Bargahs of Haveli Mureed Shah and Shah Gardez before returning to Multan's clock tower.
After a quick pass over the Ghanta Ghar, we head towards the ancient cemetery of Hasan Parwana. After a rapid descent over the graveyard, we visit the graves of my grandparents and other relatives.
A quick return flight takes us back to the cantonment, where we land at our origin to witness a hailstorm followed by thunder and heavy downpour.
