I have 2 pr 2000 rush. 1 in Indonesia and 1 jap import in Australia. I like the ground hight, excelent for older people entry/exit. Very economic to drive. Have done about 150,000km in both countries. Have replaced front set of tie rods including front suspension mounts and had ignition lock problems in the jap import. Fixed it by removing the steering and,ignition lock, and tiny japanese battery also upgraded the shit headlights. I suggest that to all rush owners. Originally felt that candles were better I like the rush and have carried a lot of gear and building materials in them. The. Clear coat paint sucks, buggered on both cars in patches,

I have a Rush and agreed with the bad things. One thing I want to add is that the fuel tank is WAAAAYYY too small. You can only get 400 km of range if you are lucky.

Actually it's not purely a Toyota. Rush is a rebadge from Daihatsu Terios and Perodua Aruz. Same design, same features. It was rebadge as Toyota Rush here in the Philippines. Daihatsu and Toyota are somewhat sister company.

Planning to buy the toyota Rush 2022 this august, I’m still torned kase ang dami nagsasabi ng hindi maganda about it, like nagmimix yung oil and water niya, matagtag, etc, pero gusto ko talaga ng Rush mainly because of the look. I don’t know much about engines and cars (p.s. first time car owner po here sana). Can someone elaborate more yung mga issues encountered while using Rush (internally, especially sa engine performance)

First time car buyer here. Got the Rush mainly because of practicality and ground clearance. Agree with all the points in the video. Since you own it for 3 years now, any comments on long term use? Any repairs needed yet? Do you still use it until now hehe
