Ankers are bad, too. Cheap. Disposable. I recommend VMODAs because they are built solid as hell, metal, etc., and my pair that's five years old already, are in fine shape!!

Sennheisers are probably far superior and are usually better in build, but they are expensive.

P.S. I also had my four year old pair of Pioneer CUE DJ headphones blow apart at the right hinge about seven months ago, just sitting with them in a diner!! I moved them a quarter inch off my neck, gently, and the whole armature cracked and shattered!! They were barely used and four years old at most. Maybe three. Also, sound great, built like shit!

As a sales guy at Walmart told me about 15 years ago already, as i was contemplating buying a cheap Sony Ipod type bookshelf system, which I did and it's still working fine, "Sony is NOT what it once was." Truer words were never spoken then, or now. A lot of these companies, Bose included, are making these BT headphones like shit and the quality of the build is shit. It's total nonsense. Everything is plastic and disposable. Meanwhile the wired audiophile stuff I've bought the past 15 years is all mainly in fine shape, built well, like Hifimans, and some Linsoul IEMs, and my IFI headphone amp which is built tough, and was all worth the money spent. BT stuff..not so much. The only BT phones I have I like are my older VMODAs, which are fantastic, built very solid with metal, sound fantastic, and my new JBL NC 770 headphones which aren't the best, but they are built quite well comparatively to Sony and sound quite good. But Sony has cheapened everything down to a very sad level. I tried some Bose headphones last week at Best Buy, they sound great, but the build is flimsy!! For $400 I'm not having it. BEATS same thing, nice bass, sound ok, build quality terrible plastic cheap junk.

wow...I just got a pair on amazon...I like them better than my MX3 but I can feel that the material is cheaper...are ALL ULT wear units prone to breaking? What can I do to minimize this risk? Should I get a new case for them that would allow me to tranport them without folding them? or they ALL just break even if worn carefully? Thanks

I bought the Sony Ult Wear headset a few days ago from Target for $149.99 before tax. I was aware of this defect before buying it, so I bought a 3rd-party warranty for it that covers physical damage. They sound amazing; they sound much more immersive and louder than my Beats Studio Pro (especially due to their better noise cancelation and bass), but they are constructed out of cheaper material. I guess that Sony couldn't afford to sell a headset with amazing sound quality and great construction for $200 or less.

A matte screen protector on an already etched screen makes it look much worse. The pixels are already blurred some from the etched glass so throwing another etched screen protector over it makes it worse.

I own the xm4, happened to me after two years of almost daily use its because the inside where the hinges lay hidden its made with a thin plastic its done on purpose damn shame they do this so only two problems i have with the head phones are I cant remove the annoying voice and the weak hinges otherwise they are perfect.

I have the same issue with my Sony ULT.I was just removing my headphones and it broke on me😭.I have contacted Sony support but they are denying it and calling it physical damage,they also said they wouldn’t reimburse me for the repair costs.🫠

Your Pi has an SD card slot on the back-just pop the SD card in there! The USB adapter is handy for setting up the OS on another computer first.
