The girl with a bonnet and mask (who you think has also scrubbed) helping you put on your hood is wearing a ring! Even if you're only doing this for educational purposes, please do it correctly! Anyone who has worked in a hospital or sterile setting knows you don't wear nail polish, artificial nails, jewelry or makeup without putting your patient at risk. But by all means, protect your face from flying bones. 😂
I didn't think wearing nail polish or artificial nails was a sterile technique, even with gloves. Interesting..
Now I know what those are.. I've seen them in the OR when I had to clean the rooms a few times. :D
congratulations !!!!!!!! 🍾🎈
i can’t wait to finish surgical tech school to witness procedures like this up close and personal 🔬🦠
Ortho case ..
I NEED this
Reminder, you need to speak louder to the team when we use it
😂😂😂
I saw joint surgeries about 20 years ago, and they definitely didn't use these hoods. That's cool.
I hated wearing a toga. Spine surgery was my fav.
I just assumed she was high and wanted to be an astronaut 😂 (Get it.. joint space)

Hiii omg professor I am currently enrolled in Stepful and let me tell you I do listen to your recordings because my teacher is so nice but she just reads … I am passing because of they why you explain everything I love you so much thanks for teaching
4 month ONLINE classes can NEVER fully train a person to be a good MA. Sorry, not Sorry. Its truly ridiculous. You may be able to pass a class or a test but you cant truly be a good MA.
Stepful what have you done where are the Rng videos
I can't believe you are having your nurse put your hood on for you... Bad form. I'm not joking.
Very nice
❤❤❤❤❤
What the accreditation are you accredited in Illinois
I got my video from Ashley today! I’m so excited to start next month😊
That's crazy I`m trying to start next month as well too. And I'm watching videos of Ashley talking about the program to get a little heads up on the program I will begin.😱😁😁😁
haha soo many people underestimate ortho surgery. it looks like a freakish crime scene when we’re done, usually with blood tissue and bone chips on the walls
Bro, nobody cares of you working
Thank you!
This is only for orthopedic surgery
Try to wear that and lead apron when using xray in surgery. You feel like an astronaut.
Sus among us
My previous facility used these instead of PAPR/CAPR/N95’s for TB and covid cases in the OR… a whistleblower contacted the manufacturer because the hospital wouldn’t take us seriously and the manufacturer said absolutely not. They are not rated for airborne precautions.
I’ve had two surgeries that involved bone cutting and hardware placement in the last 10 months and I’m facing several more in the near future…but now that I’ve seen this, it actually makes me giggle a little bit to think about what’s actually going on in the OR while I’m out! 😅😆
Flying bone? 😮
12 years ago, i had successful finger surgery. Five days later i died from sepsis contracted from the I.V. site, which was improperly cleaned. Always Demand Chlora Prep!!!

Muito bom
How your butt is ichy
All fun and games until the battery to the fan dies and you feel like you’re suffocating. I worked as an orthopedic surgery PA for a few years and loved these “space suits.” No worries, the circulating nurse can replace the battery.
That shiny hammer and chisel really send chills down my spine..
Jamais de la vie quelqu'un m'opère avec des ongles longs, ça handicape les gestes des gens inutilement.
Why isn't the one helping her wearing gloves
New fear unlocked: eyelashes in surgical wound.
What is use .
Salute to all great things u do to save lives ❤
Ah nothing like a woman to cheapen a respectable career into TikTok content
How come you're allowed to wear nail varnish? Wouldn't be allowed in operating theatre in the UK
But it looks like it would be very difficult to see properly and to move properly during surgery. Is this for real? Looks like a bad idea.
but natural immunity of patient 🎉
