Paramotor speed run down steam vent canyon in remote Iceland
Переглядів 2293 роки тому
This spot was so epic. It was my first time flying through a volcanic steam vent. Smelled like sulfur just as I imagined 🙂 We are in an area so remote google maps doesn't care enough to have a proper aerial image of it and there are no pictures we found before, so we just started exploring. This area was tucked in the northern part of the Vatnajökull glacier. It took a while to get here offroad...

Where was this please , wich country , what location , thanks
This is so cool! I love your content and music taste!!! I love Pearl Jam and the Green Day comment was very clever!
Best footage I’ve seen of this place so far. Was security ever driving underneath you shaking their fists at you?
11:47 now that’s a perfect shot. If only the owners would just let us host airsoft events there.😂😂😂🥲🥲🥲🥲😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭😭
wow!
I just showed this to my grandmother who lived there in the late 60's late 70's. Before leaving for the last time after her brother and my grandfather lost their jobs. She hadnt seen even a picture of the town since the day she left until today. She cried
So cool. 🤩
That is absolutely awesome!
But how can u fly over houses and stuff Is that not prohibited?? And do u need to report anything to air control that u will be buzzing around or how that works ? Im from Slovenija thinking to get in to this sport but im afraid that is to much regulations with flying or u have altitude wher u can fly ?
some day i'll make it there!
Turn the stupid f*ck music off, or at least down wtf. Is it dragonforce? What a clown
why the annoying music?? can't continue watching
Mute button should work ;)
Thank you so much I could not see the prison
Yea. Sadly, it burned down I think
Don’t worry big dog I’ll give the extra boost into 1k likes
Dad worked for Kaiser Steel in late 70's. We had such wonderful childhood memories growing up out there. So fun! You kept flying over my old house! Thank you for that! Near the high school, and I vividly remember sliding down the grassy hill (when there was grass and not so worn out hill) behind our house on a piece of cardboard for fun. lol! Thank you so much!
Why are they haunted...should burnt this community to the ground
cant wait until i get old enough to earn money for this
I taught school there from around 1962 to 1970. I was responsible for the lights on the football field where I coach. good memories!
Yeah I also lived here as my dad drove one of the big trucks there ..he worked a Kaiser Steel Fontana before that
It’s a shame that the only people who remember living there are mostly only us kids who have all aged into our senior years what would be a great thing would be to get permission to go back there and be allowed to have a little reunion and be able to park our Rv in the driveway of our childhood house and be able to visit and share our childhood memories that would be something that I would enjoy so much before this town is gone forever and while some of us former residents are still living I am sure that most of the adults are not with us any longer but it would be great to have the ones who are still living to join us my father passed away in 02 and this would be a great way to enjoy some memories that will be cherished forever if this would ever happen I would be happy to set up a deep fryer at the bowling alley snack bar and make deep fried burritos for everyone I loved those so much I would be there every Saturday night for them no matter what and watch a movie at the small movie theater I can’t remember if it was inside the bowling alley or in the building on the other side of the street but I remember that there was a small movie theater somewhere close by
@@brotherandsonssam2547hope you’re in good health 🙏🏼
Wow this is cool i always wanted to see that ghost town but every time after coming back from Joshua Tree we were too tired! We could have seen this like we do with your video! Did someone follow you as well? The state of California should have bought it and placed all the homeless in that town have a store and at the same time the town would have been back again! There will be lots of work to do but very possible!
It amazes me how, whether an individual or a going concern can just walk away and leave all this crap behind and local governmet dont string them up. Ive travelled around the W US quite a bit and it never ceases to blow me away how much, what amounts to garbage, just gets left behind.
Which dive tour you went through? I have dived with sharks, whakes and rays. But this is just on another level! Can you help me out? Want to know how you went.
this was near Tulum in Mexico
@@RichardSocherExplore was it with koox diving?
Nice job but idk if it's the best idea to do it in a rental lol.
Sick
Lose the music. More powerful that way.
Lived there 1945-1948.
it sucks that this place is blocked from entering but it looks like a perfect site to live on far from people
2:37 wasn't expecting that ?
Incredibly beautiful!
Wow it is so exciting. The overview of the landscape let me feel, i am doing something wrong in my live
My father worked here from 72 to 83. This place was so beautiful and all were like family. I grew up my childhood years and what a great one that was. I often think of the great memories and oh the football game that the town was all there to see. We Will Rock You was the intro for the players to take the field.
I lived there for a while when I was a kid my dad worked at the mine one day he was backing up his truck and backed into a pipe that carried fuel and we had to be evacuated from school to desert center I remember that we could hear the fuel gushing from the pipe all the way in town and then not long after I was in school and we had to evacuate because of a flash flood I was in the restroom when the flood happened and it was scary that it rose up to my waist within minutes while I was in the restroom and my favorite place where I went was the bowling alley I loved the deep fried burritos they had in the snack bar
Also yeah you are correct about everyone being like family my dad’s foreman took me into his home because my dad lived in the bunkhouse waiting on housing and I was not allowed to stay there with my dad and I was close with them so much that I called them my grandparents
A lot of the people stay in touch with each other.
I lived there in 1965 to 1972 as a child.
Hey man I love your video I just want to ask you a question how hard is to learn how to fly what you're flying
Most people can get in the air after about 6 days of training :) In the US, somewhat surprisingly, there are no certifications or licenses needed. But it is advised to get certified and get proper training to be safe!
@@RichardSocherExplore I did in a day with a friend of mine who owned one and the gas was in our mouth i had to press with my teeth this was the hardest thing to learn!
Very enjoyable. Usually not something I'd watch however, goddamn it, I WAS HOOKED! You sir, have the heart of a Kit Carson... Danke schön! Auf Wiedersehen.
When I grow up I want to be just like you you're the man
Well done. I drive the KRX out in MOAB too. I specifically DO NOT attempt this obstacle. I'm sure I would roll it. I also rent so no thank$ plus I have this thing against concussions.
0:52 wooooooooot cameooooooo
THAT'S WHERE GTA GOT TREVOR'S HOUSE LOCATION FROM
Close, Salton sea is more the area, Bombay beachhhh
@@Bousheybobby No this location is more accurate.
This place is where I had first fulltime job as a fleet mechanic helper after Junior College in Jan '74. I was 24 years old. I become a journeyman after 2 years. I left the mine in 1983 when the operation curtailed. I met my wife here and currently living in Nevada. 10:51 in the middle of the screen is a house with 2 palm trees was my late in-laws house and far to your right was a church where my wife and I got married. Lots of memories here. Thanks for posting.
I lived in a blue house right across from the high school on the curve of the double street where I would ride my skateboard
No zombie, was a awesome place to grow up in. Sad thing that people are intrigued by this town but they go in there and vandalize instead of just enjoying the town. I live there from 1965 to 83. People if you go and try to explore that area there are security but be respectful.
It just sold. $22mill

No water in the bottom. The Kawi is a good machine. But no water = easy climb.
Not always
Easy? 😂😂
Very nice videos
IF YOU EVER GO BACK, it would be great to teach Brent to fly with you. And if you could fly over the back cabins and the 3 Aerial TRAMWAYS mapping the towers and station and the Ore Bucjets hanging in mid-air on two of the TRAMWAYS.
