Fasting Mimicking Diet to Support Longevity & Immune Health with Dr Ross
Dr Warren Ross presents the science behind caloric restriction and how he uses Prolon's Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD) kit to support healthspan. Prolon's kit is the world's first clinically studied 5 day fasting mimicking diet program shown to decrease visceral abdominal fat, improve cholesterol profile, reduce inflammation, and promote stem cell formation. These results happen in as little as 5 days, and remain for up to 3 months according to the research.
There is also discussion around the Mediterranean diet and how to support autophagy (internal self cleaning) and brain health simply by choosing when to eat and when to fast. Licensed nutritionist, Keri Connell speaks briefly about easy, low calorie, Mediterranean inspired recipes to support these practices.

This is so fine!!!!
How do I acquire the Nitric Oxide supplement developed by Nathan Bryan?
He is amazing!!!
What if diet and healthcare were bundled together? What if it costs a healthcare provider LESS over the long haul to subsidize the cost of leafy greens? Or you get cheaper health insurance if you can show you buy enough leafy greens every week?
It seems like bad diet causes more disease than even smoking does.
NITRATE in leafy greens get reduced to NITRITE by bacteria in the mouth. Remembering A comes before I in the alphabet is one way to remember that.
It's cheaper to eat leafy greens and get your dose that way, but of course this doc and the pharmaceutical companies need something that they can sell and profit from.
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
I bought Neo 40 losenges at healthy Planet in Canada. It’s Nitric oxide plus other nutrients.
hi doc do you do Skype consultations? cheers from Australia
You can see Donnie remotely and get more information on his foundation's website: medericenter.org/
Interesting lecture, thank you. Would be interesting to hear results of studies of long term dietary nitrate intake. Would also be nice to hear results of trials using higher doses of dietary nitrate. Would also be nice to hear the results of studies determining optimum dose of dietary nitrate. So, what is the optimum dose of dietary nitrate per day?
💯❤️💯
15:00 arginine as precursor, peroxynitrite
If deficiency in NO production causes T2D, but children generally produce adequate NO, why are we seeing cases of T2D in children these days?
Corn syrup
@@libraryfiles4470 Maybe, maybe not. Karo syrup has been around since 1901 and kids have been eating candy since forever. Mercury contamination in corn syrup might be a newer issue, though.

9:33 Haemoglobin cannot deliver oxygen to peripheral tissues and uptake CO2 without the action of N-O. The red blood cells actually contain a receptor for N-O. 11:24 and 13:57 (t= 684 and 837) Can N-O replace anticoagulants like aspirin, warfarin (Coumadin), and apixaban (Eliquis)?
12:25 Erectile dysfunction: The real cause is diminished N-O production, not an overactive PDE-5 enzyme. Rehabilitating the eNOS enzyme, therefore, should diminish the need for PDE-5 inhibitors like Adcirca, Cialis, and Viagra.
I have a daughter who has lymphedema and has retained about 4 gallons of fluid. She has just started this therapy and was wondering how long it will take to clear out most of the fluid?
Very Informative. I am SHARING this info for all who are seeking better answers for treatment of addictions. Thank you, Dr. Stuller.
22:30 This is huge. A nitric oxide deficit might cause (not just correlate to) type 2 diabetes. 24:19 How NO affects insulin signaling 42:05 Also amazing: HumanN's N-O supplement is adaptogenic with respect to lowering blood pressure, unlike ACEs, ARBs, CCBs, and diuretics.
This sleep plan “Bαkοkαt Fawam” (Google it) actually works. I`ve endured sleeping disorders all of my like, seriously, since infancy, have used numerous medicines, but this plan is the most effective tool I`ve encountered for breaking the cycle of insomnia. I did everything this guide suggests and sleep better than I have.
I tried the beetroot powder but got a kidney stone. Beetroot is high in oxalates. The same problem exist with spinach high in nitrate but also high in oxalates. Arugula has the highest concentration of nitrates and very low in oxalates so why use beetroot with this potential complication when Arugula is available. Could arugula be a better material to use than beet-root or spinach since it avoids the stress on the kidney.
Sodium nitrite is best, and is so cheap.
@@RobinHood-ki5gg true? I wonder why nobody else says this? It's safe to ingest I guess? How much do you take? Very interesting.
Yup, ounce for ounce, arugula has 4x the nitrate (4800 mg/100g vs 1100) of beets. See www.efsa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/scientific_output/files/main_documents/689.pdf pp. 17-20 for lists of most common vegetables and their nitrate contents. My go-to's are arugula, napa cabbage, some beets (although your point is taken seriously), good old spring mix. Shoot, even iceberg lettuce will get you there (844 mg/100g).
Wheatgrass works great! no oxalates!
Same thing happened to me after becoming addicted to beet chips. I miss them, so crunchy ...
I have been resting poorly for more than 10 years, at a time not of my choosing. Right after applying this sleep plan “Bαkοkαt Fawam” (Google it) for 7 days, I had been able to achieve 8 hours of sleep every single night. I did not even need to complete the plan just to sleep well again. My sleeping disorder is finally vanished thanks to this plan.
This is a cure for heart and stroke disease without changing a bad diet!! It makes you bullet proof even if you eat greasy junk all the time!!! Just get a pinch of sodium nitrite and add to every liter of drinking and cooking water. Sodium nitrite in food grade quality is available for about 6 bucks for 2 lbs, enough for a human for a decade of use at these levels in drinking water. Please turn up the sound and endure the bad quality sound, and Dr. Bryan's slurring sort of Texas accent, it is worth every second. Take the trouble to listen 10 times if you need to, and GET this, especially the sections on the microscopic artery video showing adhesion of monocytes (a type of white blood cells that turn into macrophages or cellular garbage trucks), and how they penetrate the lining of the artery, starting the creation of plaque, but do not when the sodium nitrite is added to drinking water. This is absolutely astounding footage!!! Note how either 50mg or 150mg per liter of sodium nitrite in drinking water completely negated the harmful effects of high cholesterol diet, and prevented atherosclerosis!!
Excellent series of videos. I'm excited to see Dr. Ciotola later this month for a second opinion.
WOW I am amazed that no one has commented on this. This is truly a great way to convey the information on MBSR. Thank you Dr. Gina Sager. I really like the way you have brought this information to us down to the way you express and add meaning to your words by the way you articulate with your hands as you talk. I can only imagine what a session of MBSR with you be like. THANK YOU!
I will probably have to view this again to take in all the info, but am I to understand now that the Arginine/Citruline supplement that I'm taking now may be harming me? Just when you think you know what to do, there's another voice saying something else - kinda frustrating.
Don't be frustrated. There's tons of research on Arginine/Citruline/NO. And ton's of Doctors that use it their practices. Example... Dr. Joseph Prendergast. Follow his links. You'll find entire cardioCenters using Arginine/Citruline. The science is real. The research is extensive. The useage is extensive. Results speak for themselves. PS: Can you tell I use the stuff? It works.
larryl212 Well, I'm looking at this again and i'm still taking my L-arginine/L-citruline supplement, along with alpha lipoid acid, and folic acid at the same time as Louis Ignarro recommends in his book "NO More Heart Disease." Funny, I'm 48 and this helps keep my BP reasonably down… so my "old" body seems to be using it just fine! I'll keep using it and keep researching all the info I can find. I hope it's still working for you.
BNotAffraid This is what I take. No problems. Just great results. nitricoxideeffect.com/

I am sure this is great info...wish I could hear it. The audio is awful
Dr. Stuller is awesome!
