Hello Shana. Thank you for your effort. It is pretty straightforward in recurring-revenue businesses, I believe. I've been looking though for a way to work out Customer Retention Rate in a transactional (non-subscription based) business. In such a model of business, a purchase reflects a customer, but this action doesn't tell whether the customer is still a customer or lost forever. You know the customer who has made a purchase a month ago could make another one the next month, which means he/she is an existing customer still. But he/she could not. It might have been a one-time deal that'll never be repeated. So, how could the number of "Existing Customers" and "Lost Customers" be determined in such a model of business. I hope you could help.

Such an important reminder Shana. My takeaway (and experience) is that 1 - if they are not engaged, they're not going to make progress, and they're not going to stick around. 2 - If they are engaged but not making progress, they "might" stick around (for a while). 3 - If they are engaged (even if only moderately engaged) but regularly making progress - they stick around! And by stick around I mean we have founding members still regularly participating (and thriving) since we started 6 years ago! - Wonderful video Shana, as always!💯

Identifica lo que ya esta, saca las malas semillas y planta las que consideres que ayudaran a hacer mejor y mas fuerte la cultura de tu comunidad.

Que bacan. Ahora entiendo lo que significa progreso. Es que la gente de la comunidad sienta que se acerca a su norte. Para eso hay que poner hitos y superarlos. Una vez que lo superas, celebras y vas por el siguiente hito. El norte es una direccion pero la comunidad misma puede darte informacion de como llegar a ese destino y hacerla cada vez mas rica la comunidad. Tu dejas de ser el que responde y mas bien eres el que pregunta y dejas que los demas hablen. Curas las respuestas y las pones en marcos pequeños que hacen que los nuevos ingresantes y los actuales vean que se puede participar sin temor al que diran. Todo suma y lo que resta se señala que eso no queremos y se deja de lado.
