Sihanoukville used to be truly wonderful. I stayed there many times. BUT I would never go back, destroyed by Chinese developers. So sad what happened to the ousted local people and built over nature parks.

Torn money isn’t useless. You can take a ripped or torn US currency bill into any Cambodian bank and they will swap it for free to dollar or riel. If you try that at an independent money changer, they will charge you 10% - 30% because of the damage
