Did you call Pelagic tech support? They have the number on their website and were extremely knowledgeable and helpful resolving my issue. My actuator would extend or retract fully with autopilot engaged, it turned out I had reversed the polarity while wiring the plug. The wire coloura are not ABYC compliant so that didn't help but in the end it's my fault for not reading the instructions more carefully. Give them a call I'm sure they'll have you up and running in no time 🙂👍
I have the same issue with mine, sometimes it puts the tiller all the way to port and sometimes all the way to starboard. It gouged my tiller even. Hope I can figure out why. I have way less metal than you around the control box so it's probably not related to metal disrupting the internal compass 🤔 Did you figure out a solution?

Will be interesting to see how it works with stronger wind conditions. We used an CPT on 30 knots and it works just fine.
