Rc plane dabbler here, The issue you’re describing with your Draco is likely caused by stalling, which happens when the plane’s angle of attack becomes too steep, causing it to lose lift. Overhead wing planes are usually stable but can stall during sharp turns or aggressive maneuvers if the airflow over the wings breaks down. When one wing stalls more than the other, it creates an imbalance, leading to the aforementioned spiral dive. This can also happen due to using too much elevator during turns or stunts forcing the plane to lose lift aggressively as it tries to go up and turn at the same time, and since the planes battery is front mounted, it propels it self nose first down. Another thing that can cause that issue is an incorrect center of gravity (too nose-heavy or tail-heavy) but you said it did it prior to fixing so this one isn’t likely and it also appeared to fly properly even after your mechanic fixed it. Another thing that can cause it to aggressively lose lift is simply turning too sharply at low speeds. You may think the plane is going fast for what you’re doing but small planes as such don’t generally make enough lift for the stunts that people want them to do. Specialty builds for stunts will make the plane the same size but with a larger motor and battery capacity to be able to generate the thrust needed to control the air around the plane in any configuration or direction the plane is facing. The last thing I can immediately have in mind is having overly sensitive aileron or elevator controls. It appeared that even with the AS3X the plane took off just straight up and wanted to keep going up meaning that your controls might be a bit wonky. It’s a lot of things that can go wrong when flying these beauties and unfortunately one has to really dial it in much like a tts plane as wind and Mother Nature don’t usually like to be controlled. Definitely stay safe and happy flying young man!

Just the throttle stop screw gets you about 23 24 mph so your ziptie mod may not be working you should be upper 20s before the torque converter

that’s pretty impressive 41mph with TC and zip tied gov i haven’t top speed mine yet but i have a 12t jack shaft, stage 1 kit, and TC so i’m pretty sure i’d hit ~45 if you hit ~41

I had the belt on backwards, there is a tapered side that goes to the outside of the engine that is why it was sticky. Also top speed testing on the road was 41.6 mph
