    I clearly don’t have enough wealth built up. I’m waking up at 430 in the morning to work out and get ready for my day. And you’re out here talking about bright and early at 1030am.

      Good point! I should have been more thorough with the morning schedule but I was trying to keep it under 60 seconds. I have walk through rehearsals at 5 am, workout 6 am, practice sessions from 7:30 to 9 am, rest then I speak at 10:30 am. By the way, way to get the morning workout in. 💪🏽

      @@birden88 Articulation and critical thinking should go into your shorts even as banal as they are. I understand the logic behind creating them. However, Ive never come across your content before. This was my very first impression of you as a man. And you as a brand. My immediate thoughts after were. Who the hell says bright and early at 1030am. What kind of leadership conference is hosted at that time instead of 8. I appreciate the response. And I sincerely hope you crush your day.

      Just for clarification. The latter wasn’t directed at you. But who you’re speaking for. What owner wants their managers to think that’s an appropriate time to learn about what it takes to be successful. They should be hosting their leadership conferences at 5 in the morning. Because as a leader. If they can’t be there at 5. They sure the hell can’t manage my affairs.

    There is a difference b/t "getting comfortable with being uncomfortable" and "being uncomfortable with being comfortable" as they are hugely opposite concepts but both good to know and "do the do"!! Staying "uncomfortable" means you are always in position to act and react, like a catcher ready for the pitches and the quick foul tip balls, ready to spring into action and catch the tips with using instinct yet being open to learning how, such as keeping your head on the ball, not just your eyes on the ball. This is a can do and a must do!! Playing it safe and being comfortable is not what we train at or what my level of play is on the field and off the field. Being uncomfortable and getting used to that feeling makes you always strive to the next level but since the levels are endless and can be measured in how many TD passes you catch, how many HRs you bat, how many people you can practice "past, present, future" therewith, how often you are uncomfortable with being dropped off at a college campus and needing to speak to 100 people, for example, and so on and so forth means you are constantly striving to reach and excel goals, which result in success as the goals are endless!! So on your toes, whether you are a WR or a catcher, whether you need to be alert operating machinery or having a difficult conversation... the possibilities are endless just like success!! BTW, my commenting on your UA-cam Channel, JJ, and not simply emailing you or calling you with my thoughts is me getting comfortable in uncomfy territory, holding myself accountable as this comment is now not just b/t you and me but out there for anyone, so again, the concept is such a great one, JJ, thank you!, for making me striving to be the best in an uncomfortable situation!!

    "Discipline, The Master Key to Success" would be my pick because most people can't be reminded enough of why that quality is so important. I do like "Every Day is Game Day," but it is the discipline that is going to keep you in the mindset to make every day is game day. I hope that helps.

  • @LissaWerson
    @LissaWerson 6 років тому

    Hi JJ: Thanks for asking our opinion. I like both titles. I see that both are very useful. I feel that it is a "given" that we should make every day our game day. I have given pep talks to friends who have returned to school, and I emphasize that everything we do should be our best (why should anyone pay tuition and not strive for an A, let alone settle for C or lower!). My self esteem is heightened when I have achieved something, so there is no need to bring myself down as a result of elective failure. Hence, I like the topic of "every day is game day" as a given. For me, I am very impressed with those who master something through discipline - stick-to-it-ness. That's the biggest challenge: hanging in there, staying focused on the goal and continuing even when it gets tough. Successful sales depend on following through and never giving up. I want to hear your secrets on maintaining your discipline. Thanks a bunch.
