Gingerbread Houses
Переглядів 722 роки тому
Hello from the Hamilton Family! We had a successful night of making gingerbread houses. Way better than last year.... (Gingerbread house kit from the store that the kids did not want to share...and a child who shall remain nameless broke a wall in anger.) I used my Bosch mixer to make buttercream frosting then we used graham crackers and left over halloween candy. Not seen in this video is Zeke...
Sawtooth Lodge | Don't pack your tent

Hey everyone! My family and I spent two nights at Sawtooth Lodge located in Grandjean, Idaho. We highly recommend this place for a few reasons *the pool (heated by a geothermal spring) *the lodge (order burgers, fries, and shakes!) *cabins (they have all the essentials) *waterfall (5 minutes up the hill) *horses (Sawtooth Outfitters offers horseback riding) *dog friendly (for your furry compani...

I had a Bosch for a while… best mixer ever! I ended up giving it to one of My daughters-in-law because I just didn’t do the amount of heavy mixing to justify such a powerful appliance. I now use my old Kitchenaid.
What a cute video. Interesting and informative.
Great video. I just bought the Bosch…and I went crazy and just bought all of the accessories that go with it. I got so fed up with my stand mixer just mashing everything up on the sides and me having to keep stopping the mixer to scrape the sides. When I saw that the Bosch has little scrapers that attach to whatever attachment is being used it immediately spoke to me. Then I saw all of the reviews. Everyone who owns one seems to love it!
Did you get the bakers attachment or the basic attachments that come with the mixer is enough?
YES! Thank you for your honest review - both pro and con. 😁
Thanks for the review, think I'll try it. It's basically the same design as the Ankarsrum but less than half the cost.
Luv the intro with Bosch .. 😂
❤
What do you think about the volume of it? Is it louder than other mixers or about the same?
The Ankarsum can cost anywhere from 700 to 900 dollars my Bosch cost around 400 bucks. I don't know if it will last a life time but its a heavy duty mixer and is very light. but I don't think any machine can beat my Cuisinart. it can do almost anything that my Bosch or Kitchen Aid will do it without attachments. the kitchen aid is over 25 years now. I but I bought a larger one and it was lucky to last 2 years before it had a problem, I like the machine but they don't make them like they used too.
If only had had a pasta attachment
It does
you are so funny... thanks for the chuckles!. i just started this journey and honestly, don't need a big anything, however, it seems that the bosch is the only one that has a top so that crapola isn't spraying everywhere. we do the dalgona coffee around here and wanted something to spin that w/o flying everywhere.... and not have to stand for 8 minutes while it whips up. now i'm not sure what to do.... but thank you for your vid.... i was wondering how that darned thing worked ;-)
400 IS NOT ALOT FOR " REAL GERMAN CRAFTSMANSHIP" IF THEY ARE SO INCLINED OR NORWEIGIAN OR SVFEEDIH OR YOUCRAINIUM
Mine did NOT come with a recipe book😣
I bought the smaller lighter weight Bosch mixer and love it, too. KitchenAid is on standby.
I think she is trying to Saratoga bosch because they didn't want her for an avertisment.
It no longer comes with a nice recipe book. It is now a gray newspaper tiny pamphlet. There is a QR code for an electronic one. Disappointing for me.
Excellent video and very humorous! Please keep them coming. Well done!
In my opinion, Bosch could be better...but I don't like Kitchen Aid at all...
Love this girl, she's hilarious.
I just got my bosch. I make sourdough recipes. But haven't used it yet. Can I use the bosch for recipes that aren't giant still?? I know it's good for bulk recipes but I hope I can use it just for any
I just got one and I'm scouring all these Bosch review videos to find out if anyone else's sounds like a plane is taking off in the kitchen... Mine is really loud. I'm almost wondering if it's faulty bc surely not everyone is okay with the sound of this motor...
Got it on a Friday sent it back on a Monday, only 500W not 800W. bough an Ankarsrum spent MORE money BUT ALL S/S. It may work but not for me.
Large yes but i make a lot of bread . I broke 3 KitchenAids before i got this one.
I bought this Bosch 2 years ago. Don't like. Don't recommend. Just small Bosch is much better .
Bosch is absolutely worth the money if you bake a lot! I would have a Bosch any day instead of a Kit hen Aid.
Can your Bosch crush ice ? How about it’s it a meat grinder does the Bosch grade cheese does the Bosch make ice cream? You can buy many attachments for the kitchen aid .
Yup, Bosch has these attachments as well 👍🏼
Yes it does
One Word, Ankarsrum :)
I just bought one too! Just today. No more kitchenaid ever again especially since China owns them now. Anyway I bought the meat grinder as well, mainly to grind bacon fat with the venison we harvest each hunting season. I have a huge kitchen and plan to leave Bosch on the counter. I plan to make lots of bread because It grosses me out that store bought bread never molds. So I'm pretty excited about this mixer. Thanks for doing this review. I subbed your channel. 😀
The Chinese don't own Kitchenaid. Kitchenaid is owned by Whirlpool.
Whirlpool is not Chinese, nor do they make KitchenAid mixers there. They just degraded the quality while still making them in America.
So fun! Love seeing all the kids grow up 😊
It's worth every shining penny! Get one! It lasts forever.🎉
Have you had any issues with the other plastic attachments breaking?
Wow $400. Here in Canada I just bought mine on sale with bakers pack after tax $986.00. Free shipping.
Couldn't agree more. My 30 year old KitchenAid works fine but my 6 year old Pro 600 is loud and weak and I've had to replace the gears 3 times. My Bosch is soo much better than the KitchenAid and I have a few converts from my bread baking friends. KitchenAid is living off their past reputation (they were great 30-40-50 years ago. Now their only good for making a single box cake mix. Go Bosch!
Hi from the Scottish Highlands.. I trained as a chef and from my perspective this mixer is good..I have the stainless steel bowl apparently the latest version that came from Germany..This mixer for most dose what it clams ..However I would dispute any claims that it is the best mixer!! I am currently SAVING FOR THE ANKERARSRUM MIXER.. I have reviewed many presentations and with a 7 year warranty at least on the moter I will eventually make my BOCH a back up mixer...Research the ANKERARSRUM and see what you think..Kindness your way.. Lochness Scottish Highlands..
I have an Ankarsrum. It's great! But I had to retire mine because I have a 10 quart commercial mixer that runs circles around it. The Bosch would be a lost cause and a total failure in my collection, only because of one 10 quart Berkel that the Bosch wouldn't be able to keep up with.
OK, about 50 years of experience, and I'm a mechanic. I took the bottom off, just to have a look. First time in my family, that someone looked inside. You could sell me a Bosch, new, with a 5 day warranty. Warranties are pretty much useless on a Bosch. They DON'T break down! 7 units, close to 75 years total, and no problems. steve
Hey Mate, Is your bosch made in Slovenia, 1000W?
Made in Germany from the labelling and instruction manual.
I grew up in the 300 block of Harvard... stop freaking me out. (LOL) Great Family Vid...
this is where i live also the byu Idaho is a fricking whole staduim inside but like walls on it yk
Great plulet the earth
Pro tip: add your water, oil, honey, yeast, and about two cups of water and let it sit for 20 mins. It develops more flavor that way and it also allows you to make sure that your yeast is still good. If your yeast hasn't expired, you'll see bubbles and it'll smell nice (like honey, yeast, and wheat) when the 20 mins are up. Once you've gone through that pre-ferment, then add the salt and remaining flour one cup at a time until each cup is completely incorporated into the mixture. You'll know you've added enough flour once the dough balls up and starts to separate from the sides of the container (this is true for both the plastic and stainless steel bowls). Then knead for 10 mins and you should be good to take it out, form the loaves, and leave them to rise a second time in their molds. Looking for the dough to pull away gives you the perfect hydration for your dough almost every time. This is the same for all wheat flours (both white, whole wheat, and mixed). This doesn't apply to other grains like rye which generally require different water to flour ratios.

great family video, thanks, keep strong
The ending clip 😂😂😂 I just treated myself and doing my first batch of bread!!
I have been using a Bosch Universal since 1980…and I can assure you that you can make smaller quantum’s of bread, cookies…or what ever. You can even whip one large egg white into 1 and 1/2 cups of whipped egg whites. Just try it !
My parents purchased a Bosch Universal, plastic and metal bowls. I think it was 400 dollars or so. MY Bosch, same model, I found it at Deseret Industries. Six whole dollars! My siblings all have the same thing. Well most. My big brother's KA was in the shop, the third time, this year. Loaned him mine, and he did NOT want to return it! steve
thanks for the video.I liked it very much. Bosch is a good car. I use it myself
There’s a Bosch mixer for sale on Marketplace for $250 plus $20 shipping. I would love to buy it but was looking at your review. I have a Kitchenaid (not the tilt and stand) and I feel like the dough never kneads. Should I get it??
You won't regret getting a bosch.
Rob in Texas here. I love the fact that you are just being yourselves kids and all. You are just a great example of a good family and what families should be. My wife and I raised 6 kids with her 3 and my 3. We are LDS as well. Your content is not something that will ever raise a million views but great nonetheless. Keep doing what you love and if for no other reason you will have a journal of you life and your kids can look back and appreciate what a great mom and dad you parents are. Thank you for letting us look into the window of your home and may God bless you!
so kind of you, thank you!
Does your Bosch mixer is super super loud??? Mine is so loud I need to use it while I'm alone... :( Same as yours 800w
3:27 the 'M' may stand for momentary as in a switch that only stays closed,or on, while you're holding it, or momentarily.
It stands for Manual.
Great video 👏. So do you recommend buy these bosh mixer? There is also 1000w version
