It covers the left hammer pin. What are you going to do? Use a smaller punch and remove the pin to the right side only? You can't even look at the hole when you are installing a trigger to see if the hammer hole lines up. pretty dumb. Not you, the catch. I can't think of any other ar15 improvement that degrades the ability to further improve or repair your AR. Great idea but gets a fail! Battle Arms makes one for a third the price.

I've been told that you want to be careful about spraying cleaner or lube in the firing pin channel as that can gum it up and cause light primer strikes? Is that correct?

So do the state officials or the AFT destroy the barrel to verify that it's actually pinned? Beyond destroying the barrel how can you really tell. Anybody can put a spot weld on a basic muzzle device. This is always intrigued me.

One of my favorite upgrades...lost track of how many of these I've purchased for myself and others over the years. Many years ago, I actually got one that was out of spec, the roll pin hole was too tight, but Geissele sent me a new one pretty quick. Great video brother!

Oh yea, they get hot alright! That's pretty much every can though. Cole-Tac wraps for the win! Need to run it on a .300BO or something else subsonic to really get he most out of the sound suppression, but honestly it sounded good on 5.56. I've run mine on .300BO and .308, but will be trying it on 6.5CM soon as well. What buffer weight you running on that setup by the way? Love those Geissele maritime bolt catches. I use mine for range, tactical games, truck gun, and if needed, a survival rifle. It's just fun to shoot and accurate. This ol man can still shoot MOA at 100 yds at rest with the SU16 which really speaks well about it's inherent accuracy..

I have a HB version of this with an AT-One stock, simple weaver 3-9 scope, have founbd it to be ok for what I got, my expectations werent high to begin with, but the stock makes a difference

I've had one since they came out, and I would not get a second one i've put about 10k rounds on it, and it's sloppy, and rough i've had to over gass the upper to get the gun to run. its cracked in the cold on me as well

Oh yea they get HOT! Cole Tac has been my go to for suppressor covers… burnt stuff on my first rifle can and learned that lesson. My 30L through my .300 Blackout hosts was pretty awesome! You can definitely tell it’s less back pressure than my other cans, but of course louder at the muzzle as well. Might have to try and get their solid end cap just to see how quiet I can get it since it’s got a lot of volume there to mitigate sounds. Anyways, great to see you got yours and getting to run it some. It truly shines on .300Blackout!
