I had a 1987 fxlr willie g low rider with two hundred 34 thousand miles

I parked both off my trucks and ride either my 2011 Harley Nightster or my Yamaha TW200.

He has a problem, Exhaust is on the wrong side as well the air filter

It took almost 20 years to put a hundred thousand miles that's not a lot of riding😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I started riding in 2015 on in iron 883 . I also haven’t owned a car and ride every day. I didn’t have the same luck, after 45,000 miles I had all kinds of issues traded it in on a 2019 for a street bob . Just got a 24 low rider st. Congratulations on the miles much respect.

70k miles in 4 1/2 years, on my 471cc Honda Rebel. Trying for that 100k @ 14k miles per year. Safe Travels, Rain or Shine Let it Whine.

My 2015 Yamaha has 130k miles. Still looks good and runs like new.

So your telling me..this guy has this much mileage and it hasn't dawned on him to get a larger fuel tank...

Big shout out to Dave.. for letting the bike do its purpose. That's a lot of cold days here. I've had a 1200xl that ran like a true hero. And never an issue. The best knock on a sportster is the fuel tank. The peanut tank is visually small. And it doesn't hold much gas. Met a kid on one who was from Pennsylvania headed to California after he graduated. He and a friend, good times. But if ya want to run about anything.... and maybe a set of bags or a screen.... Even add music... The Sportster is an empty canvas, that has lot of torque.... run it accordingly.

I have about 40k on my 2009. Its a great motorcycle. Doesn't leak a drop of fluids anywhere. I am hoping to get 100k out of this motor.

No car. Ride as much as possible. Man, you're living the life, brother. 👊

Looks really great :) One question as I am not really experienced with touring with audio. How did you handle audio in this one. In Electra like bikes, the radio is located in the fairing. How about here? Thanks in advance for the reply.

Sweet bike dude I have the 2006 FLSTCI with the EFI black on chrome as well love the hell out of my bike my leather bags still look great. Had it three years now and I still get the same feeling I get when I first saw it your bike and it style is the only thing I would consider trading up on don’t like the big fairings with all the gizmos and do Dads, your bike is exactly how I would do it I think with the exception of the mirrors I like them underneath the bars instead of above all I can say is right on man I had to replace the back wheel due to broken spokes, could not find one available at the time that was chrome so I got the black one figured it won’t matter. The bags will cover that area anyway, for the most part so that I can change later nice video.

Tony, from your place probably, I am way far from you, I have purchased 3 Harley’s from the harley dealer and all 3 times it left a bad taste in my mouth, Yet I have purchased 3 other Harley’s from private individuals and they where well taken care of. I tried to trade in 2 Harley’s and I was offered 1/2 of what the trade in price was on there own website, I was not a happy camper, 2 different dealers same outcome, and the thing that irks me is that the same Harley dealer did all the maintenance and upgrades on the bike, Maybe your dealer is good, but out here where I am it been bad, I have a total of 6 Harley’s in my garage and they are treated like queens, I am very PICKY about my bikes ,they all look like they came off the showroom floor, Now it seems they dealers where I am at its all about the money, and the tech’s, they need more to expertise because they have a hard time figuring what is wrong in the mean time your paying for labor hours which is very high, and parts that did not fix the problem the bike went in for, If your dealership was near me I would try you guys. But traveling 1000 miles plus does not make sense. Just my experience with my 2 local dealers

Nice tips. Good looking Limited sitting there. MSF taught me when I took the riding class 22 years ago to get my license that you should always wear boots that cover the ankle, denim pants, gloves, helmet and long sleeve shirt to protect from the sun.

And my fellow truckers need to know that Bootlegger is in the part of Knoxville where 40 and 75 run together. So it doesn't matter if you're going north, south, east or west through town you'll go right by them and there's plenty of parking right across the street at the T/A truck stop.
