Late Winter Blossoms - Nagasaki Helios 58mm F2 Lumix S5 4kK
Переглядів 603 роки тому
Camilla, Plum and Magnolia blossoms - late February - early March in Nagasaki... Flower shots were all taken with the Helios 58mm F2 lens which produces a magical BOKEH ( background blur). Every shot taken a F2. Video was shot at 11 degree to 180 degree shutter - no ND filters used. Many shots were at minimum focus distances which gives a very, very shallow depth of field. This lens is made in ...

The Adventure team is located in Nagasaki via Louisiana and Michigan. This is the first vid in our USA connection section. Katrina- when the levees broke. This video was shot on one of the first consumer HD camcorders. After seeing how little HD video was available on UA-cam, I decided to dig into my files and put together this film. All of the shots were taken over a 3 day period between 12/26 -...
Cherries From Heaven in Nagasaki 4K
Переглядів 1204 роки тому
Drone footage of cherry trees around Nagasaki prefecture. These are some of my favorite spots to take in the most magical time of the year in Japan. This year social distancing kept the crowds from having the traditional parties and picnics under the trees. Enjoy the tranquil views from above!

KINGDOM OF ILLUMINATION - Huis Ten Bosch Nagasaki 4K
Переглядів 2364 роки тому
A visit to Huis Ten Bosch (HOUSE AT THE WOODS) - one of the most popular theme parks in Japan. The park is a recreation of a Dutch village and is located just outside Sasebo city. Our focus for this trip was on the night time illumination - the best in Japan for the past 7 years. It was a rainy Xmas day but that didn't dampen the experience of the magnificent lights.

The surprising history of Christianity in Japan. Welcome to the first on our series about the hidden Christians in Japan. Nagasaki is where these Christians reconnected with the Church after over 200 years of isolation. Come along as we visit Sotome, made famous by Shusaku Endo’s novel SILENCE, retold in the 2016 Martin Scorsese movie by the same name.

Beautiful scenery. Wish I were there.
Thank you!
Never anything but spectacular!!!!!
Always appreciate the comments!
That's a beautiful place!
Thanks for the comment!
まゆこぉ
My gosh Danny - the most gobsmackingly beautiful things I have ever seen. I was grinning like an eegit for 11 minutes. Brilliant. Whoa! :)
Really appreciate the love LB!!! Thrilled you liked it so much!
Beautiful castle. History is the best.
Wow, just wow! What a perspective! And the camera stick is always invisible. :) I've never done acid but I can imagine what it would be like by some of this video. Simply spectacular but I wouldn't expect anything less from Mr. Nagasaki!
Thanks for the praise - much appreciated! Same here with the acid but this could be similar. Glad to get a quick shot of the boys enjoying some refreshments and getting the shipping news.
The castle is where the Shimabara rebelion took place
Nice driving tour , buddy. Thx for sharing. 😊👍🏻 have a nice evening
Thank you Mr. V! Working on some more bike stuff.
Gorgeous video. What’s that beautiful background song when you were introducing Takahama beach
It's from a digital media company called Digital Juice that I subscribe to. I'll have to dig down in my files to find it.
As always, you never disappoint!
Hey, been a while - thanks for watching!
dynamite
Glad you like it!
I found out I am moving here in May, awesome video! It seems like such a beautiful city 🥰🥰
Hi Jessica, thanks for the comments! Lots of interesting things in the Shimabara area. Be sure to check out our 2 vids on UNZEN which provides a backdrop to the city.
Good to see 6😍well doing stay best coencting
The TGC Production crew and I will be visiting Hiroshima next month after we shoot the Shimanami Kaido so and watching this great video has given us many good ideas of what to film and document. Thank you so much for sharing! Did you have fun though?
Just absolutely amazing! The beauty of Japan is not shared nearly enough in this country. I really like the music you use in your videos.
Thanks Chuck. Some of the music (the Irish stuff) is from a service I subscribe to called Digital Juice. The more electronic stuff is reworked midi files of Tangerine Dream songs. First time doing this with midi and surprisingly there is no copyright violation in doing this. The simple background sounds are short loops from Big Fish Audio.
Awesome and beautiful. I've missed you're professional videos. Thanks for sharing this one!
Greeting all mighty lord! Glad you like this one. Yeah, it's been a long time since I put together a vid. Been shooting a lot and hope to have quite a few in the coming year.
Nagasaki Wagyu is really delicious! Thank you for your introduction😃!!
I’m here because of the anime Barakamon.
YES! since i watched that years ago, this island look so nice, handa was lucky
Modi zindabad!
While I enjoy all of your videos, this one in particular is simply amazing. Not just the beauty and tranquility but the drone shots are amazing. Keep up the good work. I'm going to share these with mom and the rest of the family.
Thanks so much Chuck. Finally got out with a few buddies for the first time in ages. We are starting to see a return to normalcy. Hope the fam enjoys the vids!
Stunningly beautiful and as always, edited very well! Keep up the great work.
Thank you your Lordship! You are our most loyal viewer.
@@highadventurenagasaki4587 I do share these too! And, viewing in 4K, especially the intro and aero shots are stunning!
I just bought the Fujifilm X-T20 because of the aperture ring on the lenses. I feel more comfortable with this specific camera now than I have for many years and have been looking for a fixed focal lens for it that offers such a shallow depth of field. Some of the new Chinese ones are intresting. Cheers for this great video Danny - made me homesick for Naga !
Thanks man, is that a full frame camera? There's a couple of dozen more vids to make you even more homesick. My buddy and I started this 2 yrs. ago. Sadly he returned to the states exactly a year ago so I've been on my own since. I just got a Lumix s5 in January, full frame L mount but have adapters to use my old Canon lenses and some 41 yr. old Minolta Rokker lenses I found in my junk box. I'm also looking at 1 or 2 from Samyang like this one -
I love it, and your Malamalde Bokeh, cracked me up.. :)
Doesn't it look like marmalade though? Love this lens and it's very interesting using manual focus once again.
Excellent as always. I've been waiting for a new adventure for along while.
A quick one it was. Covid has dampened the opportunities. Thanks for the comments! Got a cherry blossom camp this week so maybe something there for another flic.
Nice video. Goto is a beautiful Island.
breath taking, is there wifi there to access business contacts while on the travel tour ? thank you
Thanks for commenting. Yes, wifi is widespread and free in many commercial locations.
Sounding good Jimmy! Can't wait to come back to Nagasaki and hear you live. Edo
WHY ARE THEY HIDDEN? WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? ARE THEY DOING PORN VIDEOS IN THE CHURCH???
Satu yang membuatku terpikat. Kanal selokan yang bersih murni menjadi tempat budidaya koi.
btw what camera are you using?
This was shot completely on a Panasonic GH5 using mainly the 12-35mm and 7-14 mm lenses - wonderful camera.
very nicely shot, my 6 year old found it very useful for her school presentation
Glad to hear that! Wow - 6 yr. old already into cultural events - impressive!
this is a very nice place to go, so amazing beauty of nature, and it's very nice video, edited very well...i really admire this content...
Thanks for the kind words! Yes, the beauty is everywhere and a wonderful, off the beaten trail kind of place to visit.
Is there a place to pitch a tent?
There are 2 park like area at the top of Kotonodake where you could pitch a tent. Same for Iwaya at the very top. Hachiro's peak is rather round but along the loop trail return portion there are places everywhere to pitch - but I've never seen anyone camp on any of these mountains.
Loved every second of it! Too much fun.
Ehi mate, are you still in USA? Or you come back to Japan ? By the way, good singing skill🤩 🎤
Hey there! Thanks for watching! I am still in the US at the moment. Looking forward to getting back and making more videos! See you in Fukuoka!
Hi , how much money cost the meal? I plan to go in the region when the covid situation will be finished. Love your video very instructive and helpfull!!
Hi Eric, thanks for watching and commenting. The beef here would cost about $28 for a 200 gram serving. That's about 1/4 what you would pay for Kobe beef. The bibimbap costs about $11 dollars I believe. CV-19 is under control here now - 0 cases in Nagasaki so hope you can make it some day.
Painful to watch but I didn't expect the memories to cause tears after 15 years. Thanks for sharing this from the personal perspective.
Hey man, thanks for watching. I've been waiting to finish this one. Chose today as it's my dad's birthday and thinking how much longer he might have lived not for Katrina. New Orleans is a great place and the people are resilient which makes me believe the CV19 situation will be an easier road to tackle than Katrina. Hang in there a few more weeks and stay safe! For some reason I just saw your comment a few days ago on the cherry video. Thanks for being such a great fan!
Thanks for video. I really liked it ! Greetings from Turkey..
Keep 'em coming!
Got some free time with the CV scare so will keep the metal to the pedal!
Wow so beautiful! ❤️
Thanks so much!
Love the title! Who cleans the bathrooms? :)
They're actually quite well kept despite the seedy looking alley. Must be a janitorial service or a group effort - there are a ton of little bars around there. Should have part 2 up tonight with several other stops.
What's name of place at 0.49 ? May I know the date and time that you recorded this video?
That was in Tokyo, at Ueno Onshi Park but basically, you will find these crowds at every big city part during the season. That picture was taken on April 1st, but keep in mind the best viewing dates will change every year. Here is the guide for cherry blossom viewing this year: www.japan-guide.com/sakura/ Thanks for watching!!
Oh, this is a very educational video !!
It's a very interesting area of Nagasaki. We were back out there last week getting more footage and preparing a new story about highway 202 - sunset drive. Hope you enjoy some other of our videos!
Oh, what a great introduction of Nagasaki, my home town !!
Hope you like the other vids! It's been a good year here.
Thanks, Danny! Beautiful composition - colours, sounds; frost and fire.
Really appreciate the kind words! Thanks for checking it out!
Great job! I especially like the natural sounds (wolves, birds). Did you use a drone for the mountain shots?
You heard birds? Don't recall - just the wolves (ha-ha). The shots of the ropeway station just before the start to the hike were with the drone. It was so crowed that day and the trails are really narrow I had no chance to unobtrusively launch again. From the top, I was so high up didn't really need drone shots. Glad you like it! Gonna have a 14 yr. late vid on Katrina up in the next week or 2.
Nice! I can’t wait to get over to Unzen. Hopefully sometime in 2020.
Thanks man! It's one of the BEST places to hike and see the fall colors in Kyushu. First weekend in November is always a winner. Hope you can make it next year.
Representing LSU! Always enjoy these videos. Keep them coming!
Glad to hear it your Heineken-Nes! Been on a long break but got several on the burner now.
@@highadventurenagasaki4587 Heineken? Naw, your Hopiness is more like it.
@@Beerjunkieguy Yeah, I know - been years since my last Heiny, funny how that was our KING of beers back in the day!
Why are all the cats' tails crooked?
Excellent question! We explain the origin of this unique cat in another video about Nagasaki history.
