I help small business owners with Google Workspace (formerly G Suite).
These days there's a plethora of information out there telling you about a specific Google Calendar hack; or showing you how to tweak a particular Gmail setting; or even how to use Google Drive a bit better. Which is great - we all need this type of information (and I personally love a great productivity tip!).
But most of it is aimed at corporate employees or personal users. There's very few (if any!) websites or UA-camrs that go beyond the basics to offer small business owners next-level advice, insight and analysis on how to maximise your Google Workspace investment or even how to run Google Workspace properly.
And that's where That Online Stuff comes in. It's all about context - offering you, the small business owner, usable and practical advice on how to solve your small business problems with Google Workspace.

Priya, I am driving myself crazy trying to figure out why I can set up Appointment Schedules in my Google Calendar but when I go to settings there is no option to manage Appointment Schedules in the menu bar - do you know what might be going on? Thank you!

I was using ical, but even with the travel time toggled on it wouldn't show as "busy" time. Hoping Google calendar is better for my needs. This is exactly what I needed to learn. How do end a weekly event without losing all my notes from past weeks?
Hi Amanda, are you planning to delete the event? It should be possible to just delete future events without losing older events (and any notes in their descriptions). To be doubly sure thugh you can copy and paste those notes into a separate Google Doc. Similarly, if you have created a Meeting Note Document you can can create a copy of that in Google Drive before deleting the future repeat events.

Great question! Unfortunately, it can't be done within Google Calendar. Your best bet (ify ou don't want to manually create each date) is to create a CSV file with the dates and then import that file into Google Calendar. You can use the End of Month feature to create the list.
