A very necessary conversation that should also be had in each Black South Afrikan home. I am especially intrigued by the lack of Black Referendum, what some of us call the Black Agenda. Ironically she quotes the Architects of Poverty, which is both illuminating while paradoxically recommending neo-liberalism as a solution. Siyabonga Ngengxoxo enzulu.

This is my second time watching this lady. she's brilliant. I see some in this platform are missapropriating your content to validate x president Zuma, who presided over industrial scale looting (R50B) by his friends who are still running away from justice. The ANC has failed to deliver, but Zuma must be very far from state power.

Phapano, you articulate your views very well, thank you. But I invite you to revisit your thinking about political accountability. This political system does not allow ordinary people as voters to hold political parties to account. Even parliament cannot hold the ANC or any dominant party to account because MPs represent political parties, not voters. As long as the ANC is dominant in parliament, forget about holding them to account. Even if we have a coalition, there is nothing in the system to ensure accountability to protect society. The entire system is built from the ground up for oligarchs, cartels, and monopolies to thrive by sponsoring these political parties.
