I’ve always loved how Dave jumps in front with his fills, not unlike Keith Moon or Ringo Starr… it’s a rare thing to hear in metal and makes a ton of difference in his sound.

Thank you for uploading this. I was here. Awesome show. I remember this show sold out months prior and the only way I got in was to hound 103.1 the buzz to get free tickets. I honestly did not think they were holding tickets to Slayer either, but for some miraculous reason they were and they handed them over without flinching. It was my last ditch effort to get into the show. Offered them money even. They just handed them over like I was doing them a favor. 😂

23 years ago today! I got in with a ticket for Jane's Addiction, which had a show the same night at Shoreline, before everything was digital, and things like that worked. Those were the days!

Hey 👋 No set list .!? And I usually have time to write one out for each band when We’re on a tour and I have nothing but time traveling cross country in our van and living on and off the road for this past 4+ decades of playing music professionally lol! Mortem has been around before the Big 4( which is a bunch of bullshit and a matter of opinion). For instance. Metallica had about 5 good years of decent music even if Dave Mustaine wrote half their debut album plus 3-4 off the RTL release before they’d kick him out for doing the same thing as they were doing.. but had that not happened then he probably wouldn’t have gotten so pissed 😤 off to create an amazing project with Ellefson called Megadeth after all. If Exodus’s early recordings were not left inside of the Torrid Records Wharehouse I often wonder if they would be included in this alleged Big 4 as opposed to a band that plays covers and has totally forgotten about good writing and their own fans; Even the length of their songs are the same as well as the themes from both albums Ride The Lightning and Master Of Puppets. Fight Fire With Fire = Battery; RTL =MOP; Fade To Black =Welcome Home ( Sanitarium) and so on etc and once again ripping off the album This Is Spinal Tap which if you haven’t seen it features the band releasing a new album cover in all black. And don’t even get Me started on waiting in between for 5 years only to pinch off Loads 1+2? 💩 🥀 💩 It’s a joke by this point and a total cash grab from a once great band
