Hi Krafting friends, I wanted to share an easy dollar store hack to help make a stable support for Krafting. This works really well for glass and round pieces. As many of you see in my videos I have a great wooden kraft stand my husband made for me, we also sell them but I wanted to share another option. I used a pool noodle from the dollar tree and some wooden dowels. This is a great, inexpens...

Hi All, my glass Halloween ornaments are made using glass coasters so I need to make hangers for them. I try to make it something nice that blends with the design. I’m decided to try a wax stamp with my hot glue, and after some messy trouble shooting I found an easy solution. I’m sharing it here with you. Happy Krafting 😊

So no freaking out if you get some wrinkles in your decoupage projects just keep building those layers and they slowly disappear, like magic! Happy Krafting 😊🧙‍♀️

Oh no there’s wrinkles in my decoupage, well honestly there is a lot of wrinkles in napkin decoupage but I’m going to show you how to hide them. Some of the greatest decoupage artists in the world (not me) use much thicker paper than napkins and they don’t have a single lump or bump in their finishes. Want to know the secret…it’s layers! Layers of varnish that build up the surface to make edges...

    On the terracotta pots, do you seal them first before chalk paint? And the insides, do you seal those? Love the ideas. ❤ and how you tell us how you did it. Not just a video showing us. The drying times, I love that. Thank you. ❤

      Hi, yes I sealed the pot inside and out using the polyvine, you could use another water base cement sealer or they do make a spray sealer for terracotta, I have it but it has a very strong chemical smell I don’t like. I’m glad you like the video 😊

    Hello hello. First, thank you so much for making videos using Mulberry and Rice paper. I just found your videos. The combination surpasses napkins and paint. So thank you. Just one comment...I thought it was just from my end, but I noticed that someone else found the audio very low on your end. I had to put my volume on the highest level...but I enjoyed your videos. Thanks

    I tried mulberry paper for tbe first time. I printed a butterfly butterfly design I created myself through canva. I thought it was recommended to paint the jar first with white chalk paint then let dry overnight. I did that and added the mulberry paper. It tuned out amazing until I added fairy lights. It looks horrible but I really wanted lights or a tea candle. It shows a bumch of lines and you can't see the butterfles. Any recommendations on how to achieve this? 😢

    • @klearlykrafted5880
      @klearlykrafted5880 9 місяців тому

      Hi, so the paint is the issue. Paint tends to look splotchy when you add lights. For me I use one or the other. If I want to add lights for a lantern effect I use iridescent medium on the glass, mulberry paper and my design. If I use paint it’s applied in multiple layers to make it opaque and no lights. The only time I will combine is like in this piece where I’m lightly sponging some paint on for a lace effect.
