This is great. You remind me of me when i was younger. The baritone was my last pick but i made the best of it. I saw you play the Swan and was in aww. I havent played in a long time and miss it

Beautiful performance! I played this on Baritone as part of my 2nd year assessment for a BA (Music) c.1996 and as a solo competition work. Bass clef reading came as a rude shock after a life of brass band playing ;)

A brilliant account. This actually works better on baritone than euphonium in my view. The greater clarity and note separation possible on the baritone work to its advantage for airs varied and triplet polkas etc. On the euphonium the definition is blurred for this type of work, however great the performance. On a baritone it just works.

We in the US don't hear baritones as soloists very much and one has a better chance of winning Powerball and being hit with a meteorite on the same day as encountering a tenor horn solo. I'm glad the UA-cam programming led me to this, as I would not have thought to seek it out. Magnificent tone and blending of all three, and as noted by others, the artful black and white videography is an extra nice touch.

Very well played, lovely tone throughout. As I understand it, the baritone horn has a cylindrical bore whereas the euphonium has a conical bore. Is that the only difference between the two ?

Nice to see and hear two young ladies playing brass instruments so well, women tend to be in a minority in brass bands. I think both of these two play in top brass bands in the UK.

This has been about the fifteenth time I've listened to this video! and I'll keep listening to it daily until I can find the sheet music to it online so I can play it myself, but as long as there are two other baritone players an a guitarist playing it perfectly, why play it myself?
