What do you do with the two straws that are inside the bag with the repair patch? And one more question: Did anybody use the repair patch that comes with the kayak? Is it any good? I have a pool liner repair kit for these kinds of things but in an emergency a repair patch would be easier. Anyway, the scale is correct, you have to inflate until the scale on the kayak matches the 11.1 on the transparent ruler provided. If you fell it's not right, just inflate a little bit more and once you are done, just release the extra pressure and set it to dry.

J’ai une autre question. Les hérissons sont ils capables de monter et descendre des talus très raides ?

Cette année j’ai 3 hérissons en pleine forme dans mon grand jardin. Je leur donne de l’eau fraîche tous les soirs et quelques croquettes, pas trop pour qu’ils gardent leur instinct de chasseur. Est ce qu’on peut leur donner aussi des morceaux de tomates et de melon ?

Hi Trev, just found your video. As we have found a hedgehog in out garden two nights ago so educating ourselves now. Thank you for spreading the excellent info. We’ve already notified our neighbours, so hedgehog highway is underway. 😂

Trev, what a beautiful butterfly the White Admiral is. I never knew there were such things until you told us on the phone. A beautiful walk in such a stunning setting in such lovely weather can only add to your enjoyment of the day and ultimately for is all to share. We both wished we could’ve been there with you. Hello, I saw this kayak in a store yesterday and it attracted me very much. Then I searched for reviews about it online and found some negative reviews, so I became hesitant. I would like to ask, is your Intex Excursion pro K1 kayak still in use? Does it have quality issues? Some people said it would crack after a winter, which I am worried about because I am in Canada.

Lets get something true and straight ,rewilding projects fail because the landscape and actions of man are now completely different ,to when those species existed...the only rewilding i can think of in relative terms is the otter release programne from years ago which has escalated across the country decimating bird and fish life in its wake .. Thats a fact seen the damage done hundreds of times from lutra lutra...

Everyone! I figured out the measurement! So you take the clear ruler and reverse it so it's backwards. Then you match it against the long line on the kayak. So if the table says you need to inflate it to 5.3, then the 5 cm measurement on your kayak needs to match your backwards ruler to 5.3 cm. The same with the sides. Match your ruler in reverse to the long line on the kayak that reads 10 cm. The 10 cm line on the kayak should go to the 11.1 (or whatever your table reads) on the backwards clear ruler. I hope this makes sense.

Didn’t get to watch this last night, events overtook. Absolutely stunning video, Trev. TV documentary quality, your patience pays dividends, your choice of music is perfect. Such a lovely video Trev and delighted you got a lifer!! The Purple Heron is so lovely, although the resident Heron didn’t think so, invading his territory! Beautiful lake with all the water lillies waiting to open. That would be a pretty sight too. So nice to see the Campions in bloom, reminds me of when I was young! Such a peaceful place and the female Mallard with her little brood of ducklings having a dabble, always beautiful to see. Look forward to your next trek hopefully next week!
