Lost The Fish of My LIFE on The Same Lake as The World Record Fish Was Caught Lake Trout Ice Fishing
On this episode of The Man Cave I travel back to my favorite ice fishing lake in Colorado, Blue Mesa. Blue Mesa is home to the world record lake trout caught in the summer of 2024. I hook into the heaviest fish Ive ever caught but unfortunately lost it after 8 minutes of fight. Even though I lost that one we still catch a whole bunch of beautiful lake trout, brown trout and rainbows.

I visit Bourbon Street and see the tragic site where a terrorist ran over more than 40 people, killing 14! This town holds lots of history as well as a fun place to drink, site see and have a good time.
