She said she preferred most of these songs versions' from her demo tape cause they were more stripped back and R&B but the label was pushing for her to be A/C/Pop like somebody else mentioned. Vision Of Love was written right after she signed her record deal and she felt all her dreams were "finally" coming true, she was 18. This album is 35 years old lol it's gonna sound dated. Her albums following aged much better because she was able to produce herself.
