Rachel and Paige were a dynamic duo. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all UCLA softball games over the past 5 years here in Australia. It was just by luck that I found US college softball on UA-cam and it's been my addiction for those few months every year since. It's such a great system for the players and fans and the support is amazing.

Great job as usual Jenna - keep up the good work! I understand that the 'Sparks' dropped out of the league that they were in and went independent... for what reason I have no idea. My question for you: Is there one solid national women's softball league in existence at this time?

I think Coach Rocha is absolutely amazing in what she is able to do for OU pitching. There’s absolutely no doubt she has just made the most incredible difference since coming on board. Having said that, I’m just a little curious about the last game Kelly Maxwell pitched at the Mary Nutter Classic where by clearly her back-door curve was missing about 80% of the time. In fact, it was in the dirt about 40% of the time, giving Kinzie Hansen a serious workout behind the plate,. What was the reason for leaving Kelly in? Or at the very least, continuing to call that pitch when others were more than effective? When Kelly would throw a rise ball or a change up, she would get the strikeouts. And yet the back-door curve was called over and over and over again even though it was failing consistently. Kelly Maxwell is amazing and when her back-door curve is on point, there’s little any batter can do. But on that day, well, it just wasn’t Kelly’s day. I’m sure there are factors involved that us fans are definitely not aware of. But the decision to leave Kelly in and continue calling that pitch for multiple innings, just seems highly suspect. Gratefully, Kirsten Deal’s back-door curve was working and the relief eventually came. No idea why that took so long to happen. Regardless, just love watching what Coach Rocha has done, including making Kelly Maxwell an even better pitcher than she was. And that’s saying a lot. BOOMER SOONER!! 💝🥎

My second thought, why praise Canady for her pitching more because her offense couldn't support her and diminish Bahls pitching because she had offensive support. Thats BS. And also why praise Stanford for doing it with no transfers because their academic standards are tough. Sounds like they are handcuffing themselves. We wouldnt praise an NFL team if they played with only 10 players on the field. We would call them stupid for not playing with everything possible. Sounds like to me if Stanford shouldnt be praised for no transfers cause they bring the issue upon themselves. They want to be elite academically well that comes with consequences of not competing elite athletically ask Harvard, Princeton, and Yale.

I hate that the broadcasters called it the Nija stomp. Bahl also stomps after a big strike out so does Storako. But only Nija gets it named after her because she is a bigger girl. I am not a fan of the Nija stomp.

Nice interview. Dad said he remembers a time Grandma washing his little league uniform at the last minute, and wearing a damp uniform to get to the park on time and she saved all of the local papers' articles that mentioned him(he still has them and is proud of them-this was when there was no internet) and wished he could have done that for us, but that playing was very much worth every moment, and it gave him plenty of self confidence in situations off the field. He wished Grandpa could have witnessed his shining moments, but he was there with him in spirit. He looks forward to seeing them again along with Great- Grandma and Great-Grandpa. P. S. Post your father's interview and good luck with the broadcasting.

Nice interview with a heroic person. My dad pitched in high school and said he knows what a pitcher goes through and it can make you feel on top of the world or make you feel really sad which makes Ms. Plain's accomplishments that much more impressive.
