Terns are underrated shore birds, and are having a tough time in so many places as beach-nesting birds. Views, like like this one you captured, should be mandatory in every classroom to reconnect humans with nature and the stewardship we _owe_ other species and global habitats. 👍

There's always that one that wanders off. I was that bird 😊.

We have a sweet pair that nest in a cabbage palm in our back yard. On an overcast day the red male really stands out against the green grass and shrubs.

Did I count 16 little ones? Right at the end when they were climbing out it was easier to see. One of them seemed rather larger than the rest -- greedy eater, or maybe an ugly gosling that's going to turn into a swan?

What happened to the Potted Owl? Have not seen anything posted in quite a while!

The owl couple is smart. They chose a baby fenced area for the protection and safety of their baby owls. 😊

Have you found any leftover bits underneath she may have dropped? Once I found a bunny at the right angle corner of my fog kennel. An impossible angle to retrieve it from with the roof I had over it. I perched it back up on the corner & it was gone the next day, no terrestrial predator tracks in the snow so I surmise it was flighted

Boy did she give him what-for!!!
